SNOW! Winter has arived. Snow plows and salted parking lots..

Oh yeah, the snow storm that hit Iowa just stopped after it started around this time last night, I cant say that I have "seen it on the road" because ive been stuck inside. Perfect time to do stuff at the bench.

This morning's cruise, it was 36ºF and we were freezing our "but it's a dry heat" tails off. 🙄

When this hood opened, a bunch of guys hovered around the engine.

Well none here yet in central England. We hear Scotland has a light flurry but that luckily 300 miles away!

"Snow"?  What is this "snow" of which you speak.  (Sitting in sunny NorCal as I am.)

Snow is when everyone forgets how to drive with little to no traction even though they relearned it last year, and the year before that, and the year before that.

Never happened above the arctic circle where I live but in the south of Sweden it seems to be a fact as you state it 😂

I saw a crusty Ford Tarus wagon with one of those homemade locks over the gas cap. That was up in the Yukon Territory back in 2022. Might be able to find a photo (as I did take one). Never saw one actually on the door though.

The gas door I could possibly understand, one on the door is just kinda suspicious. Especially in the area I'm working.

Could have a broken door latch..one of my brother's Rangers had one broken, had to bungee cord tie the door to the steering wheel to move it around before auction..

That looks like Fords optional "Child Proof Door Lock" system. Those little cookie grumblers aren't getting out until mother says so.

Probably that backdoor sill being so rotted there nothing left to latch to on the truck in the picture. I'm working in a rather "low rent" area and that truck stood out a bit more than anything else.

Ok… so these weren’t seen today. Actually it was back on October 4th, at the Fairmont in Monte Carlo, along with a couple in front of the casino. There was 2 separate car events that passed thru. The Bumblebee 1000 was a charity event for kids, most of the cars had a youngster riding along with the owner. The “Road to Monte Carlo” group, as I understand it, is a group of wealthy super car guys that meet annually at a Ferrari dealership in Italy and finish in Monte Carlo. Have a close look at the 3rd pic, couple of bucks worth of cars. I estimate there was probably about $20-30,000,000 at the hotel. The underground had a bunch too. I’m not that knowledgeable when it comes to super cars, but there was some very,  very nice cars, and lots of them.

They all sounded fantastic, especially in “track mode” which seemed to be the popular option while idling. The blue McLaren sounded down right nasty.
