Joe Handley Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 Saw one of these, if not this one on the way to get my 200 this morning, first Sprinter Hi-Rail I've ever seen!

If it was vinyl and you have cash to do this, it does allow for you to change the looks if the car, sometimes for the better, but many times.....for the worse, without spending a huge amount of cash as it's maybe a few thousand for a wrap like that vs in the 10 digits for paint and protects the factory paint for when you want to sell it after getting bored with the car.
espo Posted March 24, 2019 Posted March 24, 2019 I wonder if such vehicle desecrations have to be reported to Car Fax much like a major accident or something.

If it's wrapped, that would likely improve the resale value of the car since it's protecting the factory paint.
OldNYJim Posted March 25, 2019 Posted March 25, 2019 Maybe it's a satirical take on the on-every-street-New-York-classic the graffiti beater van? Some slightly more exotic stuff I saw on my street this week: And some other stuff that caught my eye:
89AKurt Posted March 27, 2019 Posted March 27, 2019 I'm chugging up this long steep hill, and see headlights approaching fast.
Tom Geiger Posted March 29, 2019 Posted March 29, 2019 Whoa! Classic New York City street survivor! That's a truck that's taken 20 years plus of pounding! Amazed that it has hub caps! Hey Chuck Most... this one's calling our name!

So many great looking cars. That little black Valiant could be the best sleeper ever with some steelies on it.

PappyD340 Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Way too much traffic but nothing of any significance!
Rob Hall Posted March 31, 2019 Posted March 31, 2019 Yesterday driving around Columbus, Oh on I-270 I saw a sharp red Corvette (C6) Z06 in traffic during a rain storm...coming back home late last night on I-71 saw a dark Corvette (C7) that had gone off the road into a ditch...snow was coming down and many vehicles were off the freeway...
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 1953 or so International pick up spotted at Lowe's.
espo Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 I like the wheels and tires. I wonder if they are a styling statement or for the type of driving this rig sees. Neat old truck, I'll bet it could haul home anything he's buying.
The Junkman Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Ah, a sighting of the rare IH drywall catcher in its native environment. Two things I noticed: its missing a side mirror and (2) was that a for sale sign in the rear window?
Russell C Posted April 8, 2019 Posted April 8, 2019 Heard this one before I saw it, but too stuck behind the guy ahead of me to get a better shot.
DPNM Posted April 12, 2019 Posted April 12, 2019 I saw this. I had gone past it up the hill. It was parked by a driveway which had a similar looking car (yellow I think) and 55 or 56 two tone Chevy (Black/white?) in the garage. My guess, the owner of this was visiting a comrade. Sorry it's a bit grainy, I cropped the pic to make the car a little bigger.
1930fordpickup Posted April 13, 2019 Posted April 13, 2019 We had a warm spring day on Tuesday, the coolest thing I spotted was a Little Red Express truck on the way to lunch at 9pm. Too dark for a pick and I was driving. The kid riding along was clueless to what it was, he is 29. LOL
Joe Handley Posted April 14, 2019 Posted April 14, 2019 Saw these last night at an EV Charging Station getting topped off.
