A nice 1973 Chevy Caprice by MPC that I got off of E Bay arrived earlier this morning minus the engine and transmission. I've been trying to get one for years. It was a bit pricey but the car's condition convinced me to go for it. As for the engine and transmission. a junker 76 Caprice that I have will donate both to the 73 and both are nice like the car.

So I went into Wallyworld to get primer & these followed me home ! Funny thing was the Galaxie kit by itself was around $20 lol.... I grabbed the only combo kit they had...

I would definitely grab those two at that price in spite of already having them.

That Ford Drag Combo kit is a steal! I'm not planning on buying it for the prices I've seen but I definitely would for that amount. Good for you.

The honeysuckle is in full flower on the end of the house where my bedroom is. I live with my windows open as much as possible, running an exhaust fan to pull cool air in at night in the summer, so the room smells great as long as the stuff is blooming...when my neighbors aren't burning their garbage.

Yeah it’s turned out pretty good.

I’m not to sure what gun was used. I can’t take credit for the painting as it’s my boss that did it (if I sprayed it it would not look nearly as good)

You did a lot of the prep work, though, didn't you? That is really what makes a good paint job, is the prep work.....

A doe gave birth to a fawn outside our bathroom window last night.

That is a wonderful thing. Same event happened just last week at the end of our road, wife drove by just in time to witness it.

Two things pleased me today,

1) I lost my cell phone last night but I'm having another one overnighted to me via the USPS Express service thanks to my carrier Consumer Cellular.

2) It's Friday and I'm away from my school busing driving job for the weekend. Time to relax.
