bbowser Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I spent way too long building this, been on the bench since April on and off. BMF intimidated me for a long time but I think it came out OK, still not very good with vent windows for some reason. The finishing touch was the door mirror, which I promptly knocked off while taking photos! Oh well, used Krystal Kleer so it didn't mar the paint. Comments welcome, thanks for looking!
Mopar - D Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Nice looking Chevy I like your colors they go good on this model.

1 bad55 stan Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Sure is nice, the foil work looks good too....
W-409 Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Good looking '59 Chevy! I like the color combo and really nice work overall too. BMF Looks good to me and paint job is smooth, too. It's also always nice to see a well done W-Block engine and that combined with an X-Frame Chevy is a great combination. I like this one for sure!

1930fordpickup Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Great job on the best looking Chevy ever made.
atomicholiday Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Beautiful. Love your choice of colors. I've got the same kit on my bench right now. Been working on it on-and-off for a LONG time. It is a little intimidating. Any problems with the build? I screwed up and put the motor in before I attached the stearing gear box. Then I couldn't make it fit right (no room for it). Was going really good up to that point.
mr moto Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Great job! I just love '59 Chevies and your two-tone job really does a great job of showing off the lines.
