  1. Fantastic super detailing there. You did a great job on this one.
  2. That looks great. I think Monogram have captured the 70s iconic shape very well and you’ve done a fantastic job of making such a simple kit look so good. The green is very well suited. This is such a rare kit. I hardly ever see them come up for sale on eBay.
  3. Wow. I thought it looked good in the final pictures of your WIP thread. It looks even better here. Great model and photography too.
  4. Great to see you back on this one.
  5. Awesome Impala. Those gull wings must have been a lot of work, but the end result is worth the effort. I love the paint too. Subtle and effective.
  6. It all looks super clean. Your hard work is certainly paying off.
  7. That looks great Dann👍🏼. Orange is the iconic colour for these. Are you still planning on fitting the engine from the Aoshima kit?
  8. Great start Dann, and good to see your work again. I totally agree - the Aoshima kit beats the Fujimi for accuracy, though the Fujimi has an insanely well detailed chassis and engine. I am also working on the QV5000 which I intend on finishing in white, but mine is way off completion.
  9. Very cool project. The 3D printed parts are amazing. You must have a very good printer. I like the fit of the new body parts. Is this a fantasy build, or did Lamborghini actually make a Bi-Turbo Countach based on the Anniversary edition?
  10. That’s very cool. Nice clean building style and well photographed too.
  11. Nice work with the decals. It would take me a lot longer than 2 hours to do that! Do you need to spray a clear over the decals?
  12. Nice work. That is very well detailed 👍🏼
  13. Looks great. I’m looking forward to seeing how the body wrap goes. It’s a lot of work. Interior decals look cool.
  14. That looks so good. The red paint really suits the bug shape, I think. Nice whitewalls too. I never bothered with the new tool Revell kit as I already have the Tamiya in my stash to build someday. looking at this WIP, I think the Revell kit may actually be the better one!
  15. Great to see your scratch building skills again Martin. Looking forward to seeing another wild ride come together. Love the wheels. Are they really a scale 20”. They look even bigger!
  16. That’s super cool. Very good detail work. I like the PE windshield wipers.
  17. Burnt Orange and tan interior is a great combo. Very nice work so far.
  18. Great start. Will look awesome in black/red. I have this kit in my stash. I’ve been put off starting it as I thought the bonnet was a poor fit. The fit looks fine on yours though. Did you have to do much fetteling to make the fit so good?
  19. Wow. Fantastic job. Considering that most of the exhaust detail is moulded in, you made it look really good underneath as well.
  20. I missed this one back in May. Bugatti Fan, that chassis is simply stunning. Truly worthy of display without the body. Gerald Wingrove’s books were an inspiration to me as a kid. Without them, I wouldn’t have been driven to try harder. What a shame if his models are no longer available for the public to see.
  21. That’s sooo cool.
  22. Indeed - the AMT, Revell, Matchbox etc are all the same tool.
  23. Wow. The candy red looks amazing. I think this is the first one of these new Tamiyas I’ve seen built up. I received mine the other day, and I’m still trying to decide what colour to use. I also forecast a lot of these being built and shown here. The dining table collection looks impressive.
  24. Looking forward to seeing this come together. Great to see something a bit different being built. Some of the Gunze (Mr Hobby) kits were made as semi-curbside, as well as full detail kits with many common parts. It’s like that on their E-Type and Lotus Elan kits.
