this would make for an interesting community build, similar to post apocalyptic but more focused.

great choice on the engine upgrade, excellent work.

Hey man, it takes commitment to really own a 0-16 season. Be proud of them, maybe they'll make it to 0-17 next year.

Hmmm, I fear that I lack the words to properly express exactly how I feel about that...

I had to do something similar when the spot welds of the clutch pedal on my mom's Fiat 124 Spyder broke, fortunately the syncros are good in that trans and I had to start it in gear only once while crossing two cities to get it home.

Model Cars Magazine no longer at my LHS...

I bet Gregg would put out all issues on time if he could, as long as this forum exists, I'm going to cut him some slack and even if it closes. I won't be asking for a refund because I firmly believe he would be getting issues out faster if he could and there are a lot of issues we don't hear about that he has to deal with. -
I built a "craft space" for my wife using old formica counter tops on top of two drawer file cabinets. I can't show a decent photo because it's currently too cluttered with stuff. some hollow core doors and file cabinets would work also, the file cabinets provide stable "legs" and storage at the same time. Goodwill and Starvation Army are great places to get old desks and other supplies to make a work space.

great color choice, I like it all.

I understand your pain, I will not be getting paid for xmas nor new years day and I didn't get paid for the two (thanksgiving) days that the company I am contracted to were closed. It seems to be the norm for temp/contract agencies in AZ (and maybe the rest of the USA) since this has happened to me before with a different temp company. The carrot in front of me now is that the company I am working at has a strong history of converting it's contract workers (a stipulation I made to the temp agency before I decided to enter this process and this temp agency has done well by me previously). I suggest keep hunting for a an employer that is a better fit for you while you are still getting paid.

eye-popping graphics, excellent!

well, you could have posted the IRS you built for your Green Hornet... (that's done, isn't it?) I've got NIL to post also, and I've got just a few months left before the next DSC. I may just be helping and taking photos this year.

shapeway question??

Does she know Siri's phone number? -
technically, you didn't need to pull the distributor, you could have just moved the plug wires in the cap to the correct position once you had #1 cylinder at TDC (been there, done that), it gets a little wacky if you still get backfires after doing that.

I suggest doing a google image search of the car/motor you intend to add details to, choose several angles/views that give you a good idea of what you want to add to your build then save those images to your computer for later reference. If you are unclear after that, someone here can most likely supply more info or pictures.

I have no idea who was irking whom, and I don't feel it's worth getting bent. I find it really easy to just walk away and do something that I do care about. Play nice together or we won't get to play at all.

Hmmm, I had a reply but deleted it. I'm stepping away from the keyboard now.

have you considered moving the front wheels/suspension forward to be in front of the radiator (close to the original location)? -

those wheels/tires are perfect for your build, it looks exactly like the real GTO's I've seen around town. -
I think a valid question would be, would filtering the water before it goes into the WH be cheaper in cost of filters over time than the cost of replacing the WH. I have filters at my hose bibs because our water is not real good for plant watering, never really thought about having to add a filter to the incoming line to the house.
