That engine certainly has the proper look with all the accessories mounted. The half shafts on the IRS (from what I can see in the pix) look like you will be creating them from at least four discrete pieces. The rest is a mix of round and square tube (of rod) and those shocks will be a nightmare along with the rear stabilizer. I can't wait to see how you engineer this.

now that the car has been identified... this later model is one I could have fun in after some resto-modding:

I was curious about your work but your link is nonfunctional...so be it.

whenever I play this game, I always find so many cars I would like to own/drive/customize. this one has possibilities but isn't the one I saw while playing this round that got my imagination going.

Model Cars Magazine #204

glad mine showed up today, not done enjoying it yet. -
now I understand why the Night King was just standing around till the dragons showed up... he was just waiting for his new toy to show up. IMHO, waiting a whole year for the next installment should not be surprising with regard to HBO productions, although I would think they should be concerned with how the principle actors my change/age or have something happen to them.

nice work, it's great to see builders explore the possibilities of the smaller scales. I have this one in my stash but I think I want to play around with Monty's Humber before doing the Aston.

they robbed (borrowed) it from the ice ships they abandoned a long time ago.

be wary of those drones, they'll be the first ones to mob you and take your stuff when the apocalypse happens. (now, if you build a maze around your property, that might hold them off for a while)

fantastic solution to the kit glass problem, thanks for posting the process. -
I totally called the (future) "ice dragon" before it happened, and I don't follow the twits-tweets-chirps or squawks the rabid fans expectorate.

an interesting choice, well played sir.

they will have to pry the bacon out of my cold dead hands!

Finally! A contemporary concept car without "those wheels" that some of you don't like! actually, those wheels belong on a '27 Buick. great for gas mileage since stomping on the go-pedal will most likely break the wheels or reduce the tread to explosive decompression.

I have to credit Harry for the info that helped me find this one. Harry generously educating while sharing his passion is still a boon to any who care to participate. The term "shooting brake" led me to the basic class of car, after that, it was pinning down the exact year.

that's a beauty if better looking wheels were available, you could pass it off as the real thing.

thanks for the "like". Unfortunately, most of my build predate this forum and most likely the magazine. not sure what the color was called, I had a friend that was shooting some custom paint on his 69 firebird and he let me use the left overs, as you can see, it flowed out real nice. I'll edit this post if my friend can remember something he painted thirty years ago. The closest my friend can come to naming this color is: " A metallic brown paint code from 1982-ish "

Here is an old thread fix caused by the botophucket debacle, Conceived and built in the 80's, it's going to get some attention to resolve some issues (like no back glass) after the Phantom Ranchero GT is done. 1935 Auburn Speedster - The Abysmal Lindberg/Pyro Kit Completely Reworked
blunc replied to Plastheniker's topic in Model Cars
I can only echo what others have posted, a magnificent effort with amazing results. the lindberg/pyro 48 Lincoln is just as bad. -

I commend your fortitude in building to your own standards rather than rushing it out the door in order to move on to the next project. (just one of the reasons my builds are moving so slowly...)
