  1. great job
  2. don't recall getting a post card
  3. Network Attached Storage (NAS) is a great way to store your content locally and when properly configured can be accessed by any computer on your network.
  4. 3d patterns? mass production?
  5. Pink will cover white easier than white will cover pink. for general purposes, paint the lightest color first. (caveat: there are and always will be differing opinions depending on type of paint, preferences and sheer cussedness.)
  6. Oh my.... Is that a "model year correct" Olds Baja you have posted? Fascinating
  7. can't we all just get along? this general observation seems rather pointed. (waiting to see how many pages this thread goes before it's locked due to intolerant posters)
  8. noted that my most recent thread that has pics on PB still works, one of my oldest threads does not.
  9. mine was like that till I checked my account settings, then all showed up while I was on the PB site.
  10. well, if the ads on the PB site hadn't caused adverse behavior on my computer, I wouldn't have installed an ad-blocker on my systems. if I have to pay a site for hosting functions, it will be Flickr. I used to have a pay account but it got converted to free and I still get 1TB of space which I haven't used much of yet. I haven't had any problems with them yet.
  11. very "ratty", sir.
  12. the carbs seem just a little bit too large. maybe request they get scaled down one or two points and reprinted. I'm guessing they are direct "scale" prints but fudging a bit may help the appearance and remove/reduce the need to change engine mounts.
  13. has anyone checked to see if Harry kept backups of his photos offline? I suspect he was a "belt AND suspenders" kind of guy.
  14. "technically", if you can see them on your computer then you have already downloaded them...albeit possibly in a "lo-res" format. you can then "save image as" or take a screen shot and paste into your favorite paint program.
  15. odds are that the kit doesn't have a spoiler which was on camaros of that vintage but not a factory item on firebirds. '69 birds had no spoiler either but the 69 TA's had a factory "wing"
  16. I am still preferring (free) Flickr. Don't really care that PB has locked my images since I keep them all backed up locally. Anyone that wants to see images from posts I have made can let me know, then I will fix them through Flickr
  17. at this time, Flickr allows 1TB for their free account and (for me) is no harder to use or link photos from than PB is.
  18. similar event happened to me, charge at a drug store I've never been to, was told it was swiped in person also. I have no idea how to stop this kind of thing without stopping use of charge cards although I do suspect a couple places I had used that card at. you just never know who will sell your account numbers or where it will get used. (and you never know when your credit card company has been hacked....maybe when they get "outed" two of three years after the fact)
  19. the actual cost is usually dependent on the credit score of the person requesting the Brobdinganianly complex process.
  20. yeah, and you'll have to re-clock your camshaft if you get plug #1 in the wrong spot.
  21. just wait till they fine your father for contempt for not showing up for jury duty.
  22. how about a front facia and grille from a '50 or '53 ford pickup?
  23. they call it the "Valley of the sun" for a reason... sometimes I call it the "Surface of the sun"...
  24. I have never been one to be fascinated with "numbers matching" or auto provenance. My preference is to use or enjoy machinery whether its a tool or a vehicle. Since the firewall is black, a cad colored brake booster would have added a little contrast that would have made it more visible. I'm not knocking your artistic license since I respect and admire your work. When I get the time, I hope my projects look half as good as yours.
