  1. Looks beautiful in Racing Green. Lots of lovely details on this kit.
  2. Very nice indeed. Definitely one of the most beautiful cars ever designed.
  3. Oh wow. Just wow! I’ll be watching to see this come together with interest. I think the 250 Lusso is simply the most beautiful car ever. I first saw it in the film Tower Heist. Since then I got a kit from AirTrax, but then also found this MFH kit. The most expensive 1/24 kit I ever bought. I’m too afraid to start it as I don’t think my skills are up to it yet. I’m glad to be watching someone else go first so I can take notes. mid your previous builds are anything to go by, this’ll be a knock out.
  4. Very nice indeed. What kit did the 572 come from?
  5. Well done. That’s beautiful. Hard to believe the body is unpainted!
  6. That is a beautiful build. It’s a shame to hear the kit is horrible (you wouldn’t know from the end result). I have this in my stash and was really looking forward to putting it together. Those wheels look stunning. What Aoshima kit are they from?
  7. This is so cool. Not just a cool concept, but excellent model building skills. Some of those pictures really do look 1:1.
  8. Very nice bus. Your other two builds look good too. I bet Airfix will sell loads of these and hopefully they will bring new people into model building.
  9. That is stunning. I’ve always liked the XJ220 and this looks fantastic in that pearl red. Well done on a beautiful build. Unusual to hear of a warp issue in a Tamiya kit. I have the Tamiya and the AMT kit in my stash - waiting to be built. I wonder if the Italeri kit shares tooling with either of these?
  10. Louvres looks much better now. Was it easier to cut the hood than shave the bottom of the Louvre?
  11. Nice work Atin. You’re nearly there now. You made a nice job of the glass. Using superglue anywhere near clear parts allows worries me, for fear of fogging, but yours came out fine. Shame about the pop-up lamps. What have you done with them - glued in the closed position?
  12. Very nice detailing on that engine bay.
  13. Very nice restoration. Well done and good colour choices.
  14. That’s beautiful. The engine bay detail looks fantastic. I wish we saw more 80s era Trans-Ams and Camaros in scale.
  15. Such a beautiful shape! Sounds like a tricky kit, but this came out looking fantastic.
  16. How did I miss this thread! Absolutely stunning work David. Every last one of them is a jaw dropper. How long ago were these built? They still look like fresh builds. I’ve been on here for about 10 years, and never seen any haters. It’s sad to know there was a time when anyone could hate on someone else’s work.
  17. Lovely to see this done so well. I love the lime green. Are the wheels from the same kit? I built one it these as a kid, and it never looked as good as yours. It was marketed here in the UK under the Airfix brand. I didn’t know this kit was being re-issued by Round 2. I’ll have to get my hands on it.
  18. Nice work. The wheels and tyres combined with the perfect stance really make this 67 look great.
  19. That is a stunning build. Not an easy kit by all accounts.
  20. Stunning build. Well done.
  21. That’s cool. The Celica is such a good shape. Usually motorised kits have appalling detail underneath, but this one looks pretty good.
  22. This is simply stunning. A beautiful build that I would be proud to have on the shelf. And - if it were real - in the garage. The 3D parts really add to the build.
  23. Interesting car, and very cleanly built. I wonder where the engine would fit in one of these?
  24. Oh that’s a beauty. This is THE poster car of my youth. Black and gold is always a winner. I like that you didn’t fit the rear wing. I think the Countach looks better without it. You’ve done a particularly nice job of this kit (I’m guessing it’s the Aoshima one?). I think the proportions of the Aoshima Countach are more accurate than the Fujimi. I have yet to build one though, and can only hope it might look as good as this. Thanks for sharing.
  25. I find the same. Halfords paints are just as bad. I actually find I can get more coverage with a small Tamiya can than a large Halfords or Hycote can. What makes this Tamiya version a Street Custom? Is it just the cool wheels?
