  1. Another big thumbs up for that colour from me. Is it a metallic or a pearl finish?
  2. Looks great so far. You really are on a roll Alex!
  3. What a fantastic kit. Build one MFH 1/12 scale kit per year, and save on all those 1/24 scale kits and associated detail upgrade parts you would have otherwise bought!
  4. Thanks! I just checked out their website. They've got some cool stuff for us UK modellers!
  5. Great work so far. The carbon decals look fantastic. I've never used them before (I'm a bit scared!), but I hear that the Scale Motorsports ones are the best? Lovely detailing all round, and the heat effected paint on the exhaust looks convincing. Looking forward to seeing more.
  6. Great concept. Those Airtrax castings do present a 'challenge'! I'm working on one of their Cortinas at the momment. Where will you be getting the 22 inch alloys from?
  7. That is a fantastic kit, and you have truly done it justice Scott. Those MFH kits are insane, with all that detail.
  8. I'm lost for words. What a stunning build!
  9. Great work on the carbon fibre. Those seats look fantastic.
  10. Thanks Alex. These are great tips. Thanks for sharing them with us.
  11. Nice work so far Dann. That's a good idea to represent this as a kit car. Some of those replica builds in the 1:1 world have many thousands invested in them (as a genuine GTO is so valuable). I've seen replica Ferraris with real Ferrari engines, so your model is totally feasible. The shape of the Protar body may not be 100% according to some, but the 1:1 bodies were all hand made and no two are identical. I really like this kit, and doesn't it have the most gorgeous wire wheels ever made in plastic!
  12. Great work so far Alex. That red looks wonderful. Ive always liked the GTV, and consideted buying a 1:1 one once. I've yet to use Zero paints, and can't wait to try. A quick question. Are you using Zeros 2k clear? And did you put fewer coats of the clear on the underside to achieve a less 'glossy' look?
  13. Nice extra detailing. Its worth the extra effort.
  14. This is looking great Dann. I especially like what you did with the door handles. Much better than the original.
  15. Looking good Dann. Knowing your scratch-building skills, you'd breeze through making a new interor centre column.
  16. Your builds are always so clean, and great photography throughout. Another stunner. Thanks for sharing.
  17. Fantastic work so far. You are really going the extra mile with this build. The kit is one of the best engineered I've seen and it deserves the extra work you're putting in. I'll be watching with interest.
  18. Good work on painting the underside there. Its a shame Tamiya moulded in so much underside detail, but your painting skills has really made them look the best. Fantastic choice with the candy orange! Looking forward to seeing this one come together.
  19. Great work on correcting the Fujimi wheel arches on this one.
  20. Wood grain looks fantastic. I've never tried this. It looks tricky.
  21. Very nice! Is this the Fujimi kit?
  22. Very nice indeed!
  23. Great job on this wonderful kit. I'm loving the black trim - gives it a mean look!

Really nice build. That 2k clear coat is so good.
  25. A beautiful example! I especially like the paint job. That blue really suits the 959 shape.
