  1. Thanks for the suggestions. I must be daft as I didnt realise MCM could host pics for me. I just tested it and hopefully here is a pic of my WIP Galaxie…
  2. What a beauty. If I owned a 1:1 55 Chevy, this is exactly how I would want it. Great job.
  3. Absolutely stunning.
  4. Hello all, I used to get my forum images hosted by Imageshack. A few years ago, they decided they would no longer offer free hosting and wanted a monthly fee. As a result, my old build threads look a bit baron with all my pictures removed. I had some great images on my 1966 Ford Galaxie thread... This is very annoying, and as a result I have hardly posted any of my work on here in the last few years. My question is, am I being a bit too optimistic to hope for image hosting for free from somewhere? Where do others on here get their images hosted? Should I just accept that I should be paying for this service (I don't mind if that's what it really takes).
  5. You did really well there David. If I saw it on ebay I would have been bidding as well! I had a Lotus Seven kit from Southern Fine Craft and also their stand alone Rover V8 engine. I never got round to building either and finally sold them off (maybe 10 years ago now). I wish I'd kept them both. So, will we be seeing a build thread of this Magnette soon?
  6. Love this Caddi. You've done a beautiful job there.
  7. That BRG really suits it. Looks beautiful.
  8. Looks awesome.
  9. Lovely paint job.
  10. Thanks for sharing the unboxing. I will look forward to the WIP. I was not aware of this kit. It looks like it has an opening (or at least separate) rear panel, but no engine detail underneath? Is this tooling related in any way to the old Tamiya 205?
  11. Shame about the bumpers. What happened? Did the future react with the molotow?
  12. Very nicely done indeed.
  13. An absolutely perfect hotrod. Well done. Great to see such attention to detail and thoughtful use of period perfect parts.
  14. I chose exactly the same colour on my 911 Turbo, though mine is not built as well as yours Evan. You done a lovely job there.

    BMW 507

Beautiful build there. Great photography too. I saw a 1:1 of these a few years ago at Goodwood, and thought it was such a beautiful shape. Have loved the 507 ever since. You've done the car true justice.
  16. Nice job Evan. Colour combo really suits it.
  17. Looks like the hard work paid off well. Great to see this one finished. I love the colour. Thanks for sharing the build.
  18. Excellent work on that interior.
  19. Great info on this thread. Thanks for sharing.
  20. That engine is looking really good.
  21. That looks mean!! I'd prefer the green to the silver, but its your choice.
  22. I have a small pot of acetone. I place the aerosol can upside down in the acetone (nozzel removed). I leave it there for 10min - 30min. The clogged paint usually disolves away. For really stuborn clogs a toothpick can be used after the acetone has softened the clog. I use a pot with a seal tight lid. After the job is done, I seal the pot for the next use. Acetone evaporates away over night if not sealed. Hope this helps.
  23. You've done a great job. Other than the plug wires, is this straight out of the box?
  24. What a lovely collection. I especially like the Rolls Royces. If 2019 is as fruitful as 2018, where will you put them all!
  25. Nice job, and it looks great in that colour too.
