  1. Awesome Nova. I especially love that interior.

    37 ford

An amazing job there Bruce. It could not have been easy to carry out a Roadster conversion on a '37, but you've done a fine job on it. The proportions look just right with the added rake and the big Pegasus wheels. Well done!
  3. I have always used seal bags for decals too as I think they kinda go 'off' after years of storage. I like the photo album idea purely for the ease of flicking through, but I wonder if there is a way of having them air sealed at the same time? I found with some of my decals that are 10+ years old they just won't come off the backing sheet - even when left soaking for ages. Is this what happens to them when they get old - or is this just my bad luck?
  4. A lovely build there Steve. It looks great. Just out of curiosity - why did you build a Judge from the MPC kit and not from a Monogram kit? Is it so that you can have it in 1/25 instead of Monogram's 1/24? I've always wanted one of these in 1/25 but I never though of doing this!
  5. I love those Alclad coated parts. I definitely learned a few things reading this thread. Thanks for sharing your tips Cameron, and good luck with this project.

    56 NOMAD

Love this James. Great colour choice and a perfect slammed stance! How did you do the wheels? I see you say Revel Cali wheels, but you also say a set of Pegasus Supremes?
  7. Lovely detail and a wicked stance. I love it!
  8. You've done a great job there. Thanks for sharing the finished model (and the WIP) with us.
  9. Nice work Jesse. This is a project that I have contemplated doing before. If I'm not mistaken the Rockford Files Firebird changed over time. It was always the same colour (sorry - color), but I think they kept updating the model with each new TV series. Keep up the good work with this one.
  10. I always thought the P34 was an icon of Formula 1. Great to see you making such a good job of that DFV engine. The Tamiya 1/20 scale engine is a little simplified - but you have really brought it to life with the extra detailing. I great start. Will love to see this one finished.
  11. Excellent job there steve. A very nice model. Is this an AMT kit? I am not familiar with this.
  12. Great roof rack!
  13. I love this Hasagawa kit and its great to see you doing a good job on it. I am most impressed with your spray booth. I want one of those
  14. Very nice! Is this from the Revell kit?
  15. I plan on building one chassis without the body and the other as a full car. Displayed side-by-side I think they'll quite good. Having seen some of your build threads on here Geoff, I'm sure this'll be another one of your masterpieces.
  16. I won't be starting my build just yet, but when I do I'll definitely start a thread here.
  17. Lovely to see you doing this big scale kit some justice. With this level of detail it'll be hard to tell the finished model from a 1:1.
  18. This is one amazing kit. I ordered one from HLJ which has just arrived and I have got to say the level of detail is out of this world. Thanks for sharing this build with us William. What type of adhesive do you prefer for the metal parts?
  19. Good to see this project is still on going. Keep it up - would love to see the end result.
  20. Nice work Martin. Good to hear you'll be using that 350Z engine. This will be awesome. With the engine fitted will you need to cut the bonnet? And I guess the interior is going to sit a lot further back. More scratch building work for you.
  21. Thanks for that link. I just ordered two! The GBP to Yen exchange rate is definitely in my favor. They work out as 18.80 GBP each. A few years ago I was paying 30.00+ GBP for Tamiya kits. (Note: Whenever I order from HLJ I choose the 2-5 day express courier - although it costs more, I never get clobbered with import tax!)
  22. Beautiful - just beautiful. When I saw the first pics of this I thought it was actually the 1:1 car.
  23. Great paint job and I love the throttle bodies. Very well done!
  24. Nice to see such a different take on the Beetle. I love the suicide doors. What are the plans for the drive train? Are you sticking with the VW, or are you going to use more of the 350Z? Keep it going Martin.
  25. Wow Martin, You have an excellent memory - that was over 20 years ago! I still have that '57 Fairlane. Yes - it got runner up that year, (1993 if I remember correctly). I'm sure I remember you from the shows. Did you go to the SLAM club meets?
