  1. Never mind, I re-clicked on another part of the link above, and it took me right to it. I am still looking forward to this kit, big time!
  2. Tapping the link above, took me to 22 pages of searching through everything about Round 2s 2020 planned kits, and not directly to the info on the '64 F-85. So I'm wondering if you could tell us a bit more here Tim?
  3. I really hope this is not the rehash of the old MPC '71 Boss 351 kit. And it will have a correct front end on it. Not just the bumper, but the headlamp bezels/area too. Though being the sucker I am for the '71 and '72 Mach I, and a Bond fan to boot, I'm sure I'll be buying this one no matter what. And I do like the box art shown above, if nothing else.
  4. Now for something totally out of left field. Dreaming of GTO models, I'm still waiting for someone to do a '73 and '74 GTO. I know it will never happen. But, I can dream can't I? As far as the GTO kits that have been offered over years, things have not been great. I have a Revell '66, but have done nothing with it, so I can't really comment on that one. I assume like most Revell's of recent tooling, it's going to be pretty good. I liked the Polar Lights '64s. I don't know how accurate they are. But, they look pretty good to me after I built them. I was happy with both the hardtop and convertible. The last '65 AMT Goat I built was the pre-painted one offered in the late 1990's. It was just okay when finished. But, not very inspiring at all. The two MPC's, the '67 and '72? I have the '67 in waiting. And I built the '72 a year or two ago. The '72 at least is what I expected of an MPC kit of the era. Not great. But okay. I like the way mine looked in the end. I expected that the '67 to be the same. The Monogram Goats? I'm not a big fan of the Judge versions of the GTO, so I've never picked up the '69. I once had their '64. I went as far converting it to a hardtop. I thought it was okay. But, as soon as Polar Lights '64 GTOs came out, I ended up giving the kit away to a friend. I've thought about buying another, and building it as a coupe, since I have the Polar Lights versions to represent the hardtop and convertible variations.
  5. I'm disappointed! It's not a Cobra!? All kidding aside, it's looks very good Ray.
  6. Stunning! Very nice.
  7. Looks great. I've always loved that car.
  8. Very nice.
  9. Thank you. I think so too. They're are fun and simple kits. I enjoy building them. Like I say, I'm hoping Round 2 releases the last 2 in the series. Especially the '40 Ford.
  10. Good looking Stang.
  11. A very pretty car. Nice to see someone build an old Hubley metal kit. I've heard stories that they're not easy to build. I like it.
  12. Last night I finished building the model below. Its Tamiya's 1/35 scale Pkw.K1 Kubelwagen Type 82. It's a very nice kit. I was so impressed with it, that I have also purchased copies of Schwimmwagen, Willys MB Jeep, and Ford G.P.A. Amphibian Jeep. In fact the Schwimmwagen is downstairs getting its coat is of Tamiya TS-3 dark yellow paint as I write this.
  13. Beautiful.
  14. Very nice.
  15. Thank you. And are you talking about AMT's 1/32 Vette? If so, I can tell it builds out beautifully. As hopefully you can see from the pictures below. In fact, all of AMT's 1/32 "Scale Star" kit build up very nicely. As you can see, I've build whole series so far. I'm now waiting for them to reissue the '40 Ford Tudor Sedan.
  16. Thanks Carl.
  17. Thank you. It is a nice kit. The Tamiya paint? TS-15 Blue spray paint.
  18. Very cool. I really like it. It's got the right vibe.
  19. Again, thank you. And I agree. The color does work well on that car.
  20. Thank you, gentlemen. I appreciate your kind comments.
  21. Sadly magazines are dying. I only subscribe to three any more myself. One is the other model car magazine. Two, Collectable Automobile. And three, one I just started getting, and most likely will not be renewing, N-Scale. Years ago, I use to read Motor Trend, Car & Driver, and Road & Track all of the time. But, as time moved on, I got less and less interested in the cars they were reviewing. I did try all three online at some point. Didn't like the format, and still disliked the cars. A magazine I really liked for years was Special Intrest Autos. But, then the publisher, Hemming's decided to make it "better." They expanded the content, broke into three separate magazines, and started publishing it monthly. The three magazines, for those who don't know, are Hemming's Classic Cars, Muscle Cars, and Foreign Cars (the last title I may not be exactly correct on). I started with all all three. And I maintained subscriptions to Classic Cars for several years. But, between storage space, and the difficulty going back and finding and re-reading articles. Which was fairly well indexed with Special Interest Auto, and very well indexed with Collectable Automobile. I finally gave up. I do love and have quite a collection of old car magazines. Mainly Car Life and Motor Trends from the 1960's through the early 70's. And I have a few Car & Drivers and Road & Tracks from the same era. Plus a sprinkling the Rod & Custom, Hot Rod, etc. And I'm a big fan of Tom McChill, so I have quite a collection of Mechanixs Illustrated from the late 40's through the mid 70's, when old Uncle Tom passed away. Plus, I have a ton of Brooklands Books that reprint old magazine articles on different cars I'm interested in. I miss magazines in general. I grew up in an era when magazines and comic books were a big part of keeping oneself entertained and/or informed. But, like everything else, time moves on. Whether I want to go with it or not.
  22. It got Batman in about 20. Fone Bone took it a bit more. And the original Bat-Girl, Betty Kane, from the comics it could not figure out at all.
