    I don't know. This car (Zimmer Quicksilver) is built from a Fiero,and look at that snout.

    I use my Auto World hot knife exclusively. Kidding. A #11 Xacto knife and a razor saw with a miter box are my weapons of choice. Sometimes a Dremel for grinding.

    Doesn't it say on the can that it should be at room temperature or at least 60 degrees? I've never warmed one up either.

    I get my casting supplies from Miro M**k ,and they have a rubber to rubber mold release. It's as thin as water,but smells like carbontetrachloride. Works great.

    You guys are lucky! I just ordered some supplies from them last week. They ship really fast. I buy paints and stuff from them because it's hard to get to Hobby Lobby and Model Empire has EVERYTHING...

    I got a kit from my childhood too. The AMT reissue of the original 1925 Ford T with the chopped coupe. I had one of these when I was about 12. This one will get built better. Someday..

    What Harry said. They were terrible for opening doors and things like that. They were good if you wanted to remove a big chunk of plastic,or they were good for burning your hands.
