  1. Thank you Pierre - I too prefer sports and race cars from the 1960's - but this was a cheap occasion, and I always had a soft spot for Italian sportscars.
  2. Thank you, Dann - I do hope to get more finished in 2024!
  3. Mike, that's what I would like to see also - as I had no instructions at all, I found the WIP on this forum hoping to get more information about this kit. While the modeler did a very nice job here, it seems to have stalled long ago... I'm with you, it would be nice to see one built at high level...
  4. Thank you Rich - I did not go very much into detailing here (only a little wire mesh on the outside) so it could pass as an "OK shelf model".
  5. Thank you for all the positive comments, guys - I really appreciate that.
  6. Meilleures salutations d'Autriche, Olivier ! Bienvenue au forum.
  7. Thanks, Bob !
  8. Very impressive replica,Tom - I would love to have this one in my collection. I cannot spot any faults when I go through my trucking books - Excellent !
  9. As ugly as the original truck is (to me), as excellent is your model, Michael: super nice build with perfect weathering - it looks like the real deal, can easily be mistaken for a real truck with the right background (as your photos proof here) - awesome !
  10. Fantastic models all of them Mark, but your T70 Coupél is all over the top (I followed your WIP from time to time -unbelievable!)
  11. Thanks, fellows - this is my all-time favorite Alfa Romeo :either the 1750 GTV or the 1969 Junior (with the new cockpit from the 1750 GTV)
  12. Thanks to all for the positive comments - a Happy and healthy New Year to all !
  13. Very nice nostalgia models, Dave - especially the T-Bird and the T street rod with its mid-60's flair caught my eye !
  14. Excellent replica of your favorite 1:1 car !
  15. Looks good - is this the car of Max Rockatansky's wife in Mad Max (I) ?
  16. A few more old (and sold) JoHans from the 80's (some very ugly ones, too):
  17. Well done, Mario - looks great in that color. Nice photography too, as always !
  18. Started several, but only finished these (all shown here during the year): 2 reworked (Italeri) Ferrari 250 GTO's : a rebuilt ESCI glue-bomb: and a re-worked Jouef die-cast:
  19. Impressive outcome - all these in one year ?
  20. Some nice pieces there, Matt - especially the Sebring MGC GT is a fantastic model !
  21. Cool - is this a Jimmy Flintstone resin cab?
  22. One of Giorgietto Giugiaro's design masterpieces when working for Bertone is the Giulia Sprint GT from 1963 - soon other variations followed. Ixo made some nice 1/24 diecast models which were issued under different names such as Leo models (Quattroruote), Metro/Fabbri, Hachette in different series and colors: The 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia GT 1300 junior was first released in the Quattroruote series (rosso Alfa = red, best details), then in the Alfa Centenario collection (Giallo ochra = mustard yellow) and finally in the 1/24 Auto Vintage de luxe collection (bianco spino = white) . Also in the Alfa Romeo Centenario Collection the legendary 1965 Giulia Sprint 1600 GTA was offered in Rosso Corsa (with all the correct details - wheels, tires, interior, grille and scudetto): With the additon of a few decals you can easily turn this one into a period-correct racecar: Everything opens, the details are very well done - excellent 1/24 models of a truly Alfa Romeo icon = must haves for all fans of the marque !
  23. Came out great - I see Jan Michael Vincent rolling down the highway...
  24. Goal achieved - 100 % ! Very nice model !
  25. Thanks, Scott !
