  1. Hello everyone! I need help ASAP. I just finished this 1:12 Lotus F1, (a commission build), and I am going to debut it at NNL East. I need help or opinions on how to mount these body panels to a display base that is being made for it. I am going to leave the body panels pretty much as you see them but would like to be able to install them on the car as needed. The car will be removed from the base for transport to shows but I would like the panels to stay put during transport. I am thinking something like Blu-Tack. Any and all help is appreciated!!!
  2. I am the same as Tom. Hobby room and paint booth in the basement. I have a dehumidifier down there. I didn't paint yesterday due to the fact that it rained. Painted today and the dehumidifier did its job.
  3. I'm not sure that I've ever heard of or seen the Revellion before. What a cool model!! Nice job on both of them. Glad you were able to find and build your grails.
  4. I'm not sure what I am more envious of; the model or the photography Well both actually. Very nice!!
  5. It will be a pleasure to watch this WIP.
  6. Gorgeous
  7. Very nice indeed!
  8. I think it looks very good Robin. Did you brush paint the body or is that the kit plastic? I have this kit and I'm glad to see it built. Thanks for sharing it with us!
  9. Mikemodeler has a good idea. I use my spare NASCAR bodies for paint practice. They are relatively smooth and provide a nice canvas. I use them for decal / paint / setting solution testing.
  10. Beautiful!!
  11. Both cars look fantastic! Both look to be very cleanly built. I will give my nod to the McLaren for my favorite.
  12. I like seeing models like this. I know nothing about this genre but I can tell a nicely built model when I see one, and this is one of them. Thanks for sharing!
  13. Looks great Mike!
  14. What can I say that hasn't already been said? So, very, very nice!
  15. Very cool idea and you pulled it off to a "T". It could not have been easy to cut all of those decals and get them to match up so perfectly.
  16. Nice Toyotas! I never get tired of seeing well built racers.
  17. I really like it in black. For me, the black paint and the chrome wheels look good together. Nice job!!
  18. That is a real attention getter! Nice eye candy.
  19. I like it! I have this one in my "to do" stash. Any problems with the kit? Anything to watch out for?
  20. I really like the subjects you choose and the work you do on them. This one is simple and elegant. By simple I mean the body lines. They are nice and clean!
  21. I like it Jonathan! You did a great job on it. I really like the second to last photo of it. Nice shot!
  22. That is very, very nice Steve. Great job on that kit. It is nice to see them built.
  23. Hey Astroracer, I checked the "egg" that this stuff comes in. Nothing. The packaging is long gone so I can't look at that. I doubt it had any ingredients listed on it. Probably said "Made in China" . And again for Majel, I would test this first before I used it on my model.
  24. Looks great Craig. You really need to do us a favor and post more pictures.
  25. That is so sweet. Paint, engine, interior, chassis.....you nailed them all.
