  1. Congratulations! Looks to be a well deserved win. I would be willing to look at a few more pictures, if you have them.
  2. Nice looking model. The paint and stripes came out great!
  3. Very nice start. The paint looks great as does the rest of the model.
  4. Hahaha, I had the same thing happen to me about a month ago. Doing online banking on a Sunday. I was transferring money from one account to the car loan account. I knew there was probably going to be some interest that had accrued but had no way of finding out for sure. Anywho, did the transfer and it showed a $0.00 balance. Next time I logged in I noticed a $0.14 balance. Geez. I had to call the bank and they transferred the remaining 14 cents before I could get my title.
  5. Wow, Axel, great looking model! The photography is just a nice as the model.
  6. This is too cool! I got a good chuckle out of this. You did a nice job on the building of this kit. The racing theme is icing on the cake.
  7. This is a seriously great looking model! Nice job!
  8. I clean the bench and put away all of the tools, paints, glues, etc. after every build. Once a year, usually after the Annual 24 Hour Build in January, I do a "deep clean" of the hobby room.
  9. I am currently building the #16 car, (the one with Coca-Cola on it). Not being super familiar with this series, I was unsure about one seat or two seats. You just helped answer my question! Thanks! I am doing mine box stock so that I can enter it in that category at upcoming shows. You are doing a really nice job on yours. I'll be following along.
  10. Always amazed by your creativity and your ability to pull off your ideas. Looking forward to seeing this one in person!
  11. This is a great looking model. I think this is the first one of these that I've seen done as the Foose car. Nice job!
  12. That is a great looking Lambo! Nice job!
  13. Very nice model, Curt! I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'm a big fan of your work. So much so that today, at a not-so-local hobby shop, I picked up the 50 Olds kit and gave it some considerable thought. In the end I didn't buy it but I wouldn't have even considered buying a 50 Olds had it not been for seeing your great model.
  14. I'm heading up to the show. I don't have anything new to enter. I have a vendor who is holding a few kits for me. I'm looking forward to shooting the breeze with my buddies.
  15. Terry, nice job on an iconic car! Nice pictures too. Is this an out-of-box build? If so, can you tell me which kit you used? I would like to build one of these but I want to make sure I get the correct kit. Thanks!
  16. Now this is good news! Glad to see it. I am already looking forward to your next update with more good news!
  17. When I first saw this, I was on my cell phone. I had to fire up the laptop just so I could see bigger pictures! My first car, many years ago, was an Olds Cutlass, so I have a special spot in my heart for this body style. What a great model! As Dan Tier said a few post above, I just keep on looking at this one. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! That is just beautiful! I would love to see more pictures of this. What a great color.
  19. Snake is right, do not just add black into the panel lines, especially on a lighter colored car, it will be too stark. In my opinion, I have seen some very nice, straight panel lines that had black added to them and it actually detracted from the model. There are several different ways of doing it. I had had good results "pre-shading", (to borrow a phrase from our military modeling brothers). I add the black on top of the primer before shooting color coats. As always, practice on a spare body if you can. Good luck!
  20. That is a great looking model, Carl. Nice job and nice save!
