As with all new technology there's a learning curve and they will improve with each new new release based on a long-gone vintage kit. The FB you mention, I filed the A-pillars to match the original kit I have, just need to glue on some evergreen strip to make up the trim. Anyway, can't wait to see what's around the corner. Cheers Luc

Aoshima spare parts?
Luc Janssens replied to Luc Janssens's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks Bill, will ask the Belgian distributor. -
Hey guys, Anyone know if it's possible to order spare parts from Aoshima? Cheers Luc

Probably more even, when you're living in mainland Europe, plus 21% sales tax and 15 Euro on import duty.

A pitty they didn't update it to have clear headlamps and turnsignals, but nevertheless these old Chevelle's make great street machines. So might add it to the pile ?

DDA Collectibles Ford Falcon XY
Luc Janssens replied to Michael jones's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Same for Europe and then there's the matter of sales tax and cost to get it past customs. A couple of months ago I had an issue with replacement parts, sent to me at no cost, but to get it into the country would cost me $25, so returned it to sender and they had it sent to a friend in the US where I will pick it up when visiting next year. Belgium I really had it! GRRRR -

Round 2 Product News at the 2023 NNL Motor City
Luc Janssens replied to tim boyd's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Steve, it looks like the stock headlights and buckets are also included in the kit, as are the stock tail lights. -
Maybe some more farmer's protests in Europe at the time of release will give this one an extra boost
-
Most likely because past sales numbers show the subject matter strongly appeals to the average impulse buyer.

Neat wheels!

Looks like Chris of Hpiguys is building one.... A question for Steve Goldman tho; is the stock grille still included or is blocked off? Cheers Luc

Why was the Supernatural 67 Impala 4 door kit discontued?
Luc Janssens replied to GMP440's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
If this is what it takes to have a standard bench seat and OEM wheels, I'm all for it, besides think it will be nice in red. Cheers! -

1/25 AMT Kenworth/Challenge Transit Mixer
Luc Janssens replied to Casey's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
Have one too, the plan is to mate the mixer bits to a Autocar truck, cuz IMHO it looks more like a rough work truck. A project for when I retire in 5 or do years.
