  15. Oven Cleaner will also remove chrome, in about 10 mins, maybe 15 for the stubborn areas. put your parts on a glass surface, or in the sink, shake the can spray it on the parts, then wash it off, you might need a tooth brush to delicately clean the parts, I'd wear gloves & do it in a ventilated area...
  16. It is a great subject, and its a cool build especially for 24 hours, I can spend months on a build and it might not turn out as sharp as yours!

  19. Cool build!
  20. Cheers Peter, kick it off in 2021!!! I tried really hard to get nice and neat, straight HT leads on these head covers, but it wasn't to be, so they are a bit messy, but this is attempt number 3 and about 3 weeks of work! engine mostly assembled, I'm now thinking about adding detail to the engine bay. Not realistic detail, just a few wires and tubes to make it look busy. Started on the body shell too, marked out the areas to sand with a sharpie, the only major flash was in the side air inlet, so not a real issue to sort out. I'm thinking to spray with the side vents unassembled - always risks a glue mess on finished paint, but I can't actually spray it properly assembled...
