  1. Hey Dann, thanks for the tute! I didn't think that the solder would stay in place with plastic cement. It makes sense to go over it with CA. I guess that you pre-form the solder.
  2. That little mini's paint job is amazing!
  3. It is a nice colour, and it's a great back story to the rescue build...
  4. Kool 928,I have to say that the 911 steals the show tho!
  5. Looks fantastic!
  6. Super clean looking model!
  7. Looks great!
  8. Great builds, looks like a lot of hard work!
  9. Looks good, happy building!
  10. Hey Dann, great progress on this. What did you scribe the seats with, just a scalpel? And how did you do that piping? Did you glue it in?
  11. A beautiful build of this kit. I like the 2 tone too. Looks like we need a tutorial for replacing glass with acetate. How would you replicate the curvature of the windscreen?
  12. De tamaso Pantera is another one of my favourites! And this build is excellent... Such an aggressive looking car...

  18. Excellent build(s)! Welcome to the Forum...
  19. I bought this kit from ebay a while ago, it's original decals are included, but they are crackled. the kit came with a set of B*H decals for the Longhurst version, and a resin piece for the rear spoiler I've already got the paints from zero, I'm going for Camel Yellow & Zero Gloss white, i'll do the body first!
  20. Now that I've got my Skyline finished, I've been trying to get the body completed on this build. It has had 3 coats of Zero primer, 3 coats of tamiya white primer & now 3 to 4 coats of Zero Gloss White. Obviously, it's zero, it doesn't come out gloss white, so I have some Zero 2K to put over the top. I'm not going to lie, this is the scary part for me! I have completed a spoon test & it came out OK, but spoon tests can fool you, it's much easier to spray a spoon than a body.... I've spent time cleaning my work area as the Zero base coat has always come out with dust - which has required a lot of touching up / sanding and resprays. so within a week I intend on getting the gloss coat complete! wish me luck...!
  21. Super clean build so far...!
  22. Saved from the scrap heap!
