A bit of a pain to build, as I had to make my own interior door cards. not the best turn out of a model, but it will look good on the shelf. Finished in Tamiya Silver with 1K Zero topcoat - polished with Nuvous 3 part system. Comments welcome...

This build was mostly finished in 2016, there is a build thread on this forum. I just had to finish the license plates - which I did this year... It is a dog of a kit, quality is low, general fit is poor and the way it is supposed to be assembled makes it difficult to get right. It was sprayed with some old nail polish, one of may favourite colours on one of my favourite cars, shame it looks a bit strange... hopefully my '85 Fujimi 911 will turn out better! Comments welcome!

All, this was finished a few months ago, but I was quite annoyed at the fact that the AC Schnitzer decals fell apart when trying to apply, that i lost the heart to post it... I thought I'd take advantage of the sun today to post some pics. It is coated in Tamiya Silver base coat, BMW green touch up paint (filtered for large flakes) and clear coated with 1K Zero paints without any polish. the kit is basic, but builds up ok, there is a build thread on this site too. the interior is turquoise, but doesn't suit the car. If I was to do this again, the interior would be black, white or cream. All the decals were shot on this kit, they looked OK, but they disintegrated when trying to apply. Comments and criticisms welcome!

Thanks Ken & Silvester! The support it great, it keeps me going! It's been too hot to move here in the UK, so progress has been slow! But progress has been made, 2 steps forward & 2 steps back! The rear view mirror broke & had to be glued back together, then kind of painted so it didn't look like glue. the front badge is complete, sealed with Zero 1K clear Then I decided that i really can't put this together without some pedals. I had nothing in the spares box, so I made some following some research off t'internet. They are ready to be sprayed silver now... Unfortunately the Rear Spoiler broke off during a test fit... but i'm hoping it will glue back with minimal ugliness.... -

Wow, that paint finish is excellent! -
That's painful, but in my experience, part of the hobby. In fact, it's the reason why a lot of people focus on the body shell first...

Wow, that colour... Amazing build
