Wow !!!! Your build is rolling right along . The shorter trailer will look good behind your truck, and already can see the apocalyptic look coming Tank tracks on fenders !!! Nice I doubt the real tins could support the weight of those without massive supports but it's part of the insane looks of the build well done

Thanks! They're excellent for parts like this where ya need details to stand out . I've used common hex rod too when needed Thanks, luckily I took several photos of the gearbox . I really like the meng bolts for details. Hex rod works too, but I'm very inconsistent w thickness when cutting em .

Wknd update ! Small detailed parts ways seem to make a model look real imo..so I spent awhile knocking out the drive motor /gearbox for the conveyor. I'm hoping to use Grante Line chain and sprockets set for the conveyor, this small gearbox should compliment those. I purchased a small punch set years ago, making these small discs easy peasy. Toss on a few meng bolts to wrap it up Next up the chain lift pump !!!

Try warming up the hood under running hot water around the area you want adjusted . After satisfied quickly stick under cold water and see if that helps. The cold shock should set the adjustment..but its mostly trial. I've done this a few times w mixed results

Thanks Brian ! Working on updating the wing tower behind cab right now . Mine has a pulley inside the tower, where the resin one is on top. Planning to remove the top, cut a space out and stick a pulley more like " fair lead " inside . Thank you !

Yep..didn't matter whether I scrubbed w comet, westleys over night soak, washed w dawn dish soap etc..I sometimes have issues w it . Even spraying mist coats sometimes still had spots that didn't cover . This was their sandable gray primer. I ended up using tamiya fine white for problem areas

Tossed some plastic together to make a fuel tank and its hardware . Chunk of pvc pipe always works good for smooth tanks ! After a few minutes I mocked everything up to check clearance, seemed okay ! The ladder was from the ALF Eagle..worked out perfect for the sander ladder It's really starting to look like the real truck, several small items to chec off the build sheet..then it's off to primer .
