  1. Very ambitious project , but well under control!! Your certainly getting the cab profiles nailed down

  3. One last bit of fabrication left and it's off to the assembly shop ! The dreaded mirrors..I decided to suck it up and make em , 3/64 rod and a mirror head from the Ollie's 4300 parts kit. Squish the ends flat, glue , repeat.. I've also reached the milestone of the build finally reaching a rolling chassis! Everything except the sander hopper and cab is permanently attached...then I remembered the muffler..oops !!! That's getting done now wont be long now and itll be under glass

  5. IMO they look a tad long . Took a look at my Holmes wrecker and the end is almost even w end of bed . Mabe just a bit shorter it will look better
  6. That really turned out awesome, it definitely looks ready to work ! Add a flatbed behind it loaded down w a few of Keystones new options and its finished . pallets of concrete bags , shingles , plywood stacks anything would look right
  7. Holy smokes that's tiny ! Even my squirrels broke out the reading glasses to see the pics lol Glad to see ya back , looks almost ready to paint after snipping the pour plugs

  9. Thanks for the link those are exactly what I was planning to use on the conveyor chain in sander...and they note it's the same sold by Grant . Awesome work on the paver

  11. Working on a 53 also, but it's a resin crew cab Planning to fab a custom frame and drop in the weeds , your project sounds great

  16. The paint is dry, so it's time to start final assembly!!! The plow got a few touches of black along the discharge end , and the road scraper The frame and sander hopper is semi gloss black , the diamond plate fenders is buffed aluminum plate, and fuel tank ended up dull aluminum. I might lower the black area on plow , the real one had more showing from the side ..we'll see
