  1. That really turned out awesome, it definitely looks ready to work ! Add a flatbed behind it loaded down w a few of Keystones new options and its finished . pallets of concrete bags , shingles , plywood stacks anything would look right
  2. Holy smokes that's tiny ! Even my squirrels broke out the reading glasses to see the pics lol Glad to see ya back , looks almost ready to paint after snipping the pour plugs

  4. Thanks for the link those are exactly what I was planning to use on the conveyor chain in sander...and they note it's the same sold by Grant . Awesome work on the paver

  6. Working on a 53 also, but it's a resin crew cab Planning to fab a custom frame and drop in the weeds , your project sounds great

  11. The paint is dry, so it's time to start final assembly!!! The plow got a few touches of black along the discharge end , and the road scraper The frame and sander hopper is semi gloss black , the diamond plate fenders is buffed aluminum plate, and fuel tank ended up dull aluminum. I might lower the black area on plow , the real one had more showing from the side ..we'll see

  15. Dont get discouraged , its Feb now and still plenty of time to finish your build ! Really looking forward to your build, these trucks arent seen as frequently as other kits
  16. Your making progress !!! Too bad your having paint issues , they definitely stall a build . My plow build had similar issues . I washed the resin parts like always , then sprayed primer. Small fish eyes appeared in spots.. an annoying issue
  17. Yeah , I actually meant to lightly tack most of the parts on making the painting easier..but enjoying the work so much , most of the parts stayed put. The white areas are where I removed the fender hangers to paint them orange. The details really jump out now Thanks ! I'll take a few pics of the painted body today, I'm really happy with the results
  18. Excellent work ! Everything about this truck looks spot on , the colors have the proper era stripes..the list goes on and on !

  20. Looks very good Good thing ya checked fitment along the way, these kits can really throw monkey wrenches into progress, and checking frequently helps ..my problem I rush in then realize a problem lol
