  1. Looking good. Maybe take a little sandpaper to those treads.
  2. The engine is an LS1 from the AMT 2004 Pontiac GTO. 350 horsepower, 5.7 liter V8. I cut off the molded in serpentine belt and replaced it with black electrical tape to correct the routing and try to give it a more realistic look. The air cleaner is from a sprint car and PE scripts from Model Car Garage. I'll most likely use the radiator, with some modifications, and brake cylinder from the same kit. Thanks again for the compliments and thanks for watching.
  3. Thanks! I appreciate that.
  4. Great start for a first timer. Keep it up.
  5. Nice build.
  6. Making progress on the interior. http://
  7. They both look very cool. I don't know what it is about diecast, just doesn't seem as 'fun' to work with as plastic but you did a great job on both.
  8. Wow that's insane. I would have never thought of that. Way cool!
  9. Gorgeous and beautiful pictures.
  10. Got it. A day without learning something is a wasted day. Mahalo!
  11. Nice looking Jag. This a great kit with lots of fine detail as seen in the grill and wire wheels.
  12. "Post your finished (pau) model cars here in all their glory–your online display case!" Forgive my ignorance but what is pau? Thanks
  13. You have to do what you like but sometimes you have to break out of your comfort zone to test your skills & learn new ones. Pro touring would be my choice.
  14. That's awesome! And interesting choice of engine.
  15. I saw this story on my local newspaper's website. Amazing! Shows what can be accomplished when there's no wife and kids :-O
  16. Very cool & unique. What wheels did you use? I like.
  17. You nailed the 30's feel. Excellent work. And yeah, what scale is it?
  18. Looks good! I really like this kit. Easy to build and very versitile.
  19. This is looking like a very cool custom so far. The roof, stance and ford hubcaps all flow nicely together.
  20. I agree, with the shaved tailgate.
  21. Looking good already. Can't wait to see it done.
  22. That is... is... WOW!!! I tried but couldn't find anything else to describe it.
