  1. Interior is done
  2. Just read this whole thread, start to finish...., all I can say is, holy cow Batman! Stunning from any and all angles, fantastic work and attention to detail.
  3. Finally got all the exhaust bits sorted out, and now those are painted up. Will be using the exhaust tips from the superbird kit and they will exit just under the bumper. Got the rest of the suspension parts in color as well, so will probably be able to get the chassis on wheels and engine installed this week. Also finished off the dash and steering wheel.
  4. I think the black stripe is the way to go
  5. The revell pro street 67 chevelle kit has a good donor chassis for tubbing stuff, I’ve used the back half chassis on a 41 Plymouth , 59 caddy and a 66 chevelle so far, ironically, have yet to build the 67 pro street kit.
  6. Lol, I just commented in your build thread, I had perused your topic before, so I am guessing that’s where my green idea came from.......
  7. Looking good, I knew the idea to do mine green came from something I saw here, haha.
  8. This is really looking great! Should be a stunner when done .
  9. That is pretty neat, love all the extra bits you added, well done.
  10. WOW ! That is pure beauty right there!
  11. Another fantastic rust bucket, all it’s missing is a few small dents .
  12. Great looking build. I have one of these kits, but after reading the horror stories, been afraid to try it, but after seeing this, I may give it a go.
  13. Cool build, I have a few of these, seeing this really makes me want to start one , like right now. Wasn’t the yellow one a convertible?
  14. Gorgeous!
  15. Good point, and with that, for me, the only one that comes close would be the corvette. Initially, I was going to say chevelle/Malibu, but then I’d have to lump in the modern versions——- yuck....
  16. Thanks guys? after surfing the web, it would seem this color green could only be had with a black or black/parchment interior, unless it had cloth, then green-gray was an option. So, I think I’m going to do black/parchment interior on this.

Thank you for that info. I kind of like the body color dash/carpet with white everything else, I think that may be a winner.
  18. Cool build, I really like the lower body color/treatment, well done .
  19. That turned out marvelous, I read your whole build thread the other day, well done!
  20. Thanks guys, been wanting to build one of these for awhile . The model bench assembly line will be firing up pretty soon.

It is an interesting looking color , that I hope will ‘mellow’ some once the bmf is done and there is an interior color to blend with. Steve, what interior colors were offered with 1:1 cars that were similar to this color, any idea?
  22. This is looking great, love the damage to the box.
  23. Love the green and the steel wheels!
  24. What a beautiful build!
