I bought that file earlier this year and its got some issues. The first pic shows the errors that keep this from being printed without repair. When I put it in Lychee slicer, most of the body didn't even show as printable. The other pics show where I cut the front end from the file and added it to the Beetle body I have from parting out the kit for my Peking to Paris Karmann Ghia. I cut the front end off in Meshmixer and did a lot of resizing and reprinting to get it right. I'll do the rear when I decide to build it. That might be an option for you as well using the full kit.

I agree. I'd start with this dual quad from Competition resins. Cut the middle out, and make a box from some 4x2mm styrene stock glued together then glue the carb section back on. It won't be an exact replica but neither will anything else you find. Btw, what engine would this be for?

I had decided that I have more projects than time, so I told myself that I wouldn't buy any more kits or bodies, and I stuck to that. What I didn't do was not pay to print one. I came across this beauty on Cults for free. Its called a Holden Efijy. I fell in love with the clean lines and classic curves. I cleaned the file up in Blender and Meshmixer (very little) to make it printable, then farmed out the printing to Cloudcraft for $27.50. The results are truly impressive. the resin used resulted in a nice print with a bit of elasticity to it. I'm including a pic of the 1:1 for those like me who had never seen the car before. Its on a stretched C5 chassis, mine will be a curbie though. I'm in no rush to build it but I had to add it to the long list of somedays.

Well, I'm not a fan of CVT but to say its only for those who don't care about cars is a stretch. I have one in my 2011 Altima and though it doesn't snap my neck with every gear it does do what I need it to do when I need it. Also, its been more reliable than three GM cars I've owned, drove the same yet had tranny trouble in each.
