  1. Awesome work! I've been working on a Weaver crane design to print in 3D since the beginning of the year and got as far as the boom angle using estimated lengths. How did you come up with the measurements for the A-frame?
  2. Nicely done!
  3. Sweet!
  4. For those interested in my free files, I've updated the Rotofaze distributor by adding the caps and capacitors. Also, I drew up an Enderle barn door injector. Its not an exact replica but I'm happy about the result. Both files should be available on my Cults site in a week or so as I haven't printed them yet. I always print my creations to catch any printing issues.
  5. Killer build!

    Nice!
  7. I saw a vid a while back on detailing military tanks and they covered that method. Great stuff.
  8. Me, I got the Anycubic Photon Zero when they were on clearance for $99. Its a small print bed and good only for parts but you can also print bodies like the Anglia, or a Model T tub. I'd go with the best resolution I could pay for if it were me doing it again, but I'm not unhappy with what I got. Like Scott indicated, research a bit, but don't get too bogged down. Good luck.
  9. Awesome project and fabrication work! I used to work in the pole yard at our electric utility unloading poles from trucks before the company decided to to to self loaders/unloaders and you hit the mark on the detail exactly.
  10. Very nice!
  11. Wow! I'm not familiar with that kit but it sounds like its got the right stuff.
  12. Beautiful!
  13. Awesome work!
  14. Also, those are modern injectors.
  15. Check these out. No guarantee its your answer but it looks like Delco was the GM shock back then. https://www.ebay.com/itm/323737100092 Also, the pic below was another previous ebay listing supposedly for a 49 - 54 GM.
  16. I'm in agreement with Les. I think fabrication is your best option for a "modern" style Baja, as I've been planning something similar but had to throttle it back because I didn't want to do that much fab work, but the way he lays it out makes it look more doable than my plan.
  17. Nicely done! I've seen a lot of wild 50s dragsters but never that one. That had to be a wild ride!
