  1. Thanks Alan! Man what a flip flop of ideas I've had with this build. I had John here on this forum in offer up a Revell 348 in previous posts on this thread which beats the OOB AMT offering all to HECK! I'm most of the way finished with the 348 engine build as of this morning and still need to touch up a couple of areas thanks to the Macro Shots. Progress...…………...FINALLY!! I converted the oil filter from the cannister type to a spin on so I could use a decal and spruce things up a little more. I also added a fuel line and the oil filler tube and cap and pinned the oil filler onto the manifold to keep it from falling off on down the road and touched up that area with the missing paint.
  2. I've been a big Mustang fanatic for decades and have never heard of this car. Very interesting. Will be watching your build.
  3. That's some nice 'n tidy detail work you've got going on in that engine compartment JC. Very cool.
  4. Simply off the charts man. Wow!
  5. Thanks fellas for the comments and pictures. I've been workin' away on this one for the last couple of weeks but haven't posted any progress. I'll see if I can get some of that done tomorrow. Thanks John. I've already got that one. The decals though.....
  6. Good lookin' lil' street rod!
  7. Thanks a lot fellas! Heya Dan. Man at this point I'm just hoping I can actually make it to a show. I've missed every one of 'em that I could go to for the last 2-1/2 years. Maybe 2019 will be the year though. Fingers crossed good buddy.

  9. Man this is BRILLIANT!! Nothin' like an LS swap to jazz things up a bit. Fantastic display of modeling here.

  17. I remember the big talk in grade school as far as cars were concerned was this beast right here. I don't get into many exotics but you just can't go wrong with one of these! She's a beauty Thomas!
  18. Man that's a good looking color choice. What is it? Beautiful job!!
  19. It's all in considering the age of the paint. In any case it does look good.
  20. Man that looks fabulous Steve!!! It's hard to believe that paint being that old will lay down that smoothly and the foil job is "all that" and a bag of party mix!!!
  21. Paint looks so wet it could drip! Wow!
  22. I'm not here at this level of fabrication yet but rest assured, I am watching..................and learning. Keep up the good work.
  23. I did things a little backwards on this build. I'm still waiting on some parts and trying to figure out how I'm going to do the interior so I decided to lay down the initial color coat after ALOT of body work. Got rid of the molded El Camino emblems on the side of the body. Will try to find a set of cals or PE to replace them with. Here goes:
  24. First off, I'm really liking this so far. Secondly, I can't even make it up to two builds at one time but I can sure as heck appreciate and respect anybody that can do more than that. But 8? WOW is all I can come up with. My hat does go off to you bud.
  25. HOLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SCHMOKES!!!!!! Good Lord this is gonna be a solid build.
