  1. It's been a couple of days since my last update but I have been working a little here and there on it in the way of the back edges( which are separate pieces) and the rear faces of the wheels. I've also been working on the rear shocks , which I finally got the lower mounting points/ rings figured out and little things here and there until my linkage and bolts/nuts come in the mail. Odds are that I'll start back up on the engine again until that stuff makes it in because I need to run all my brake lines and fuel lines before I install the wheels and tires as well as mount the master cylinder/ brake booster and run the vacuum line for that to up front. There is definitely an order to building this thing that's for sure. Then there's yesterday where I had to put my little doggy Sweet Pea down after 17 years of her being my little pal. I didn't even hit the bench this morning. In short, the little dog had just lost her mind. She was blind, deaf and lost her good friend Scooter who I had to put down 6 months ago. She's a good ol' girl and she'll be missed.
  2. Hellcat ..............right on! Stuka...............YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. Awesome!!
  4. That's what they all say. FYI ....that's what I said about automotive kits. LOL
  5. Haaay man! There's your next build!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. Now that's a problem I think most of us have!!
  7. Hey.............this is alright Rob!!!
  8. Good score Jeremy! I think Eduard is ahead of the game in a lot of areas, but that's just my opinion. I've built their Fw190 A8/R2 which some just flat out consider "unbuildable" and over engineered but turn out awesome builds if the builder just sticks with it, and now have their Hellcat Profipak kit and that thing looks great. I've read all the reviews and have watched folks build these things in group builds on other forums and had to have one. I liked what I saw so much that I bought two!!! Can't wait to see you start this one bud.
  9. Yes!!! This thing freekin ROCKS Gerry!!! Looking great man!!
  10. I like all the little details you put into that motor Jim!! Those pulleys and carburetor are da bomb!!!
  11. Nah! Somethin' tells me he'll get back around to this one!
  12. Thanks Greg!! LOLOLOL!!! You can say that again! Thanks Dan and Jim!! Looking forward to that truck build Jim!
  13. Keep it coming there Cory! Movin' right along here!
  14. Now this ....is the meat and potatoes of the build here!!! lol. Great work Jim!!!! Totally awesome!!
  15. Tom: That's a cool pic!! Christian: I've never seen any of that stuff!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!! Good score!
  16. Got any updates on this bad boy Kevin?
  17. I've been looking at the body/ paint work for some time now.
  18. I'll be sticking to the box scheme as I've always like the dark red idea with these flames. I saw another one of these kits in Houston and should have snagged it up for the flame decals just for an extra set. I'd really like to give your acrylic paint idea a go on this one. May get with you in a PM on this.
  19. Ok I managed to get the brake rotors installed and the brake calipers mounted up on that. I guess I could have made mounts for them but where does one stop? LOL. I did drill holes for brake lines to be installed and will be working on that coming up. I also applied some alclad to the inner rim edges and painted the backs of the wheels. Here's the front suspension / brake setup so far: And another mock up just to make sure I'm still tracking straight here. Never enough test fitting I'll tell you that............
  20. That motor looks good there Justin!! Have you thought about applying a mild, and I mean mild, wash on the pulleys and the supercharger butterflys? It's merely a suggestion and you don't have to put much. It'll bring out the detail a little better.
  21. Cool!!! Will be looking for paint here..................although this does look good in primer!!
  22. Freekin' WOW! The paint is just out of this world!!! Then there's all of the updates and conversion work!! That outta take the #1 spot in/on the display case right there! Great work Paul.
  23. Lookin' forward to seeing that sometime Chuck! Jeremy: You're right about that! Serious firepower right there!
  24. Looking good Andy!! What's your idea for the tubbing procedure.
