  1. Thank you Chris, Roger and Tony! I really appreciate you guys stopping in and commenting. Tony: I used Badger's Stynylrez Gray Primer for the gray portion and Stynylrez Black Primer for the Black portion. After that I used a Prismacolor Silver lead pencil and drug it lightly across the raised details.
  2. I've got a few of those kinds of builds that I planned everything out for and then out of the blue I selected a total different build in its place. I've got a 79 Mustang that I REALLY want to build into a 460 car. Got the custom decals, the resin 460 and all that stuff for it too. I think I just talked myself into building it for my next build.
  3. I'm actually kinda glad that I can't build that fast. I'd run out of display space just that much quicker. lol
  4. It's a very rare occasion when I see one of these built and this one turned out great for a fun build.
  5. Thanks Larry! 'Preciate it Gerald!! Thank you Chris!! Thanks Don. I was already a Maverick fan before the build but the more I researched the Mavericks the more I liked them. Thanks Mike. Good to see you man. Thank you Misha. I hope not to disappoint. lol Thanks for the good comments Dave!
  6. Totally missed this one Tim!! Man that turned out a beauty. Really impressive!!!
  7. WOW!!! I REALLY like that "T". You just gave me an idea for one of my builds.
  8. I really like that stock 66 GT Rich! That thing looks fabulous!!
  9. That's a good looking Trans Am. I've always liked the way these cars look.
  10. Good looking T/A JR!
  11. Those are all very impressive builds Kurt! Great weathering on that paint truck!
  12. Man that's a kit I haven't seen in a loooooooooooooooooong time right there. Good lookin' build.
  13. Very good looking set of builds. I've heard alot of good things about those Tamiya GT kits and yours turned out very well.
  14. Turned out great Jim. Always had a soft spot for these as well as the T-Type cars.
  15. Turned out really good. Great color!!!
  16. Ya know.....when I see a post like 20 builds in a year I expect to see 20 fairly good looking builds. Upon scrolling through all of this however, I am amazed at the quality of these 20 builds. Very good job on all of these Tommy.
  17. Really like the color and the shine on this one.
  18. Thanks Larry! 'Preciate it Rusty. I haven't heard all that much good about the Hobby Craft kits. Funny thing is that the Hasegawa version is touted to be the best offering out there .....BUT ....trying to get that whole nose section/ cockpit area mated to the fuselage cleanly proved to be a nightmare for me. It was the biggest obstacle I had with this build but with patience and perseverance it can be done. Watch for that area when you tackle yours. Test fit...test fit and some MORE test fit.
  19. These are just the coolest kits and this build turned out great!!! Gonna have to pick me one of these up and.......now I'm hungry for tacos!!!!
  20. Ya know.......I had finished this last year and totally forgot that there's a separate forum for Finished "All The Rest" Builds. In any case.....here she is. I started this kit over three years ago and ran into a lot of problematic areas with this kit. To say that this kit has now moved into #1 on my most difficult/ frustrating and sometimes angering build would simply be an understatement. It was so bad that I stepped away from aircraft building altogether for those 3 years. Some of it I brought on myself by making things more difficult than they needed to be and other areas were just plain ridiculous the way Hasegawa put this thing together. This kit is touted to be one of the best scale model representations of this iconic plane and on that point I'll agree once it's built. Getting there was the difficult part for me. Enough of that banter though. After 3 long years my Arado is finally completed: Finished cockpit photo In progress cockpit photo: aaaaaaaaand engine shots:
  21. THAT......is a thing of beauty Craig. Very nicely built and painted. WOW!!
  22. WOW!!! Thanks guys!!! I really appreciate all the great and encouraging comments.
  23. That's a good looking build Dennis! Good shine on that paint!!!
