  1. Ok folks. Here's the completed chassis and interior. I don't have the wheels and tires on just yet because I like to do that in one of the last phases of auto builds. Just making sure that I have a good stance and no "three wheeler" look. The only thing I don't have pictured with the interior is the first aid kit. That will be fastened to the L/H rear side wall of the interior next to the rear seat.
  2. You've got skills.....there's no doubt about that. Great progress Marcin.
  3. Very sharp looking build Dave. I spend just as much or more time in editing my photos as I do taking them so you'll get the hang of that camera after a while. Once you do you'll be just that much more grateful for it.
  4. After looking at this build and gawking for a while I can definitely say that you sure know what you're doing with an aircraft build. Very well built, painted and weathered. The prop blades could stand a little chipping and wear but that's small stuff. Man this thing looks good!
  5. I say that same thing on just about every kit that I build. lol . There's always these little sidetracks and diversions. Looks like you found your way through those on this build. Looks great and can't wait to see the finish!
  6. Thanks Michael! I did indeed see this build on the internet and it truly is a great build. Lots of detail and weathering in that one!!! I'm having alot of fun with this one. I decided not to go with any weapons on this one but I did put alot of goodies on the package tray and behind the rear seat like binoculars, map case and bread pouch. I'm done with this part and will be moving on to the dash, steering column and steering wheel.
  7. Aww mayan!!! I hate it when stuff like that happens. Looking forward to the recovery efforts and more progress Dave.
  8. Added a few more details this morning. Eyeglasses on the newspaper up front, Helmet and folded map on the rear package tray. I'm debating on whether or not to throw an MP40 back there too but wondering how realistic that'll be. Not many soldiers leave their weapons laying around.
  9. We're looking.....and this is COOL!!! Ray and Bob are both right. I've had builds where I had 15 or so replies but the views were at 2000+. Keep 'er comin' Gerald
  10. Thanks so much for both of you guys input as well as for all who are looking in on and commenting on this build of mine. I have NOT given up on this car. Just going really slow on it so as to give it as good of a finish as possible. I've come too far to get in a hurry and screw it all up at the end.
  11. I don't remember this one but it looks like you're doing some good with the build Dave. Will be watching this one come together.
  12. This doesn't look like it but there's been a ton of work done to this thing since the last update. Shift, throttle/clutch/ brake and actuating levers installed , seats painted and installed (obviously) and a newspaper that I got from Fields of Glory. Mild weathering adorns the entire floor and rear shelf area as well. The seats took two tries as I wasn't happy with the look of the seats when initially painted.
  13. Coming along nicely Simon. These long projects usually mandate a break to take on much simpler builds along the way. I've already had two other modeling diversions since I started my Maverick project in January of this year.
  14. Thanks Simon! I only WISHED I had one of these. I built it like one of the best looking T/A's I worked on back in the day when these were new in 1998. I didn't do a whole lot to this in the way of additions. I think the only things I did add were the magazine, AC Delco decal on the oil filter and the dual tailpipes.
  15. Right??!! I forgot the honey do's and getting our sons truck ready for the road.
  16. Good color and details. Brought 'er home nicely.
  17. That's a good lookin' lil' Vette you've got there. Nicely done!
  18. Snazzy paint job along with the details make this one good lookin' ride.
  19. Great job on this build. Fantastic weathering and details.
