  1. Just finished this Revell American Graffiti 1/25 '56 TBird. I thought it was a good build even with a metal body.
  2. Have a G4 Corvette (white w/ Corvette Challenge markings) with a radio built in.
  3. It's been so long since I built mine, I had forgotten about the missing headlight inner lip.
  4. Must be manager's choice. Two local HLs are about sold out of markdown kits, third store has all on the shelf and still has not markdown any.
  5. Yep, that's what I did. What's wrong with the headlights?
  6. Found pics of the K & O 1959 Evinrude 50 HP outboard motors. With the decals and a little paint the Lindberg ones would not be bad.
  7. One thing I noticed while sanding down the fender flares on mine. There is a lip along the bottom edge of the DLO on the Revell body that is not there on the Johan body I am comparing it with. I removed it (with an Xacto blade) and it seems to open up the DLO more as well as unplump the body some.
  8. Picked up a Lindberg ( Palmer) Owens '59 Outboard boat at my local HL. Man even at $6.99 clearance this kit is overpriced. I see what you mean about Palmer car kits. Vague detail, poor fit and bad plastic. The outboard motors don't look too bad, although they are a different scale than the boat.
  9. Just got back from my local HL. Had all the ones listed (for $7.49 ) except the IH Scout and '75 Datsun pickup were gone. Picked up a MPC Jeep Commando Mountain Goat on clearance.
  10. Looks good. Got a similar project in my stash. Trying for this car.
  11. Great detail on all. Is the fat guy a shop "groupie". Always hanging around but never really does anything.
  12. 1971. Agree entirely. Bought a new Dodge Charger that year. It was a 318 ci with a two bbl. carb, AC, auto trans, but I wish I still had it.
  13. Have an incomplete sheet. I could take a pic if your interested.
  14. I believe that was in the '72 GTO kit.
  15. Nice paint, looks like Nassau blue.
  16. No, not yet. Ouch, I think I payed $10 bucks (40 years ago).
  17. Been using Future (Pledge Floor care) acrylic polish for fifty years. Still no yellowing even over White enamel, decals still look new. No cracking or chipping.
  18. I just modified the stock chassis it came with.
  19. Built the '64 version from a gluebomb Craftsman kit many years ago. Guess I'll have to get the '65 to go with it.
  20. Same experience I had with him. That was about 10 years ago and never ordered from him again.
