  1. Thank you for posting this here! I saw it on your website, but I couldn't leave any comments. I rreeeeaaallllyyyy like this one! I am glad you were able to resurect this one. Talk about a kit you don't see, I don't know that I even knew this one existed. Great job. Love the GTO theme. Mike
  2. Don't apologize. I love this car. Nice color. Mike
  3. Yes, they look a whole lot better! Did you make these? Will they allow for lowering? Should look great when its done. Mike
  4. They look really close to these. I believe I got them off a monogram custom green Pinto, but I am sure they would have been on other 80's custom kits. If they are, the rears are wider. Mike
  5. Thanks for remembering that Count. It is in issue 138. I put a lot of ideas in it I learned from doing that pink version. There was a little design contest for someone who has a real one that is coming along nicely. I could send you the link to that as well as it is for a well known artist. Mike
  6. Yes, have a good one! Happy birthday! Mike
  7. I really liked building mine. Even with customizing it as much as I did, it still went together easily. I am sure I have posted it before, but here it is again. It went together so well that I plan on doing a more stock version of one. OK, can you tell I started this one in the 80's?! Here was the inspiration... Here is what I ended up with... Mike
  8. Congratulations! I hope to see many more. Mike
  9. Wow!! Very nice! Nice combo, and love the hood. Mike
  10. Very nice. Believe it or not, I didn't know any kit of the 323 existed till the begining of this month. I had an 89 GTX. Your kit looks the same as the friend who showed me his, but it wasn't a rally version. Just in case you were wondering, here is a link to see my 1:1 car. http://rides.webshots.com/photo/1019322157028688125rMqCnQmjBO Keep us posted, Mike
  11. My thoughts and prayers are with you as well. Mike
  12. Very nice! I like how you painted the grill. Can't wait to see more. Mike
  13. Red wheels would look better. Nice and clean looking. I would like to see how the Slant 6 looks in there. Mike
  14. Please keep us posted as I have a few ideas for mine as well. Mike
  15. Is it just me or would down draft webers be better suited for this? I mean if you have turbos blowing throught an intercooler then going into nice plenums over the webers, Kind of viper like, I think it would work fine. I think a cammer engine would be cool with that set up as well. Mike
  16. Thanks for the humor. You could say I needed it, along with others here. For me, it startd around the middle of the year when, while on a great vacation in New Jersey (Harvey Ceders), I lost my $700+ glasses in the surf, within the first hour of getting there. Then we had multiple visits to Florida to see my father in law while he was struggling with Cancer. Funny thing is both my wife and I both got stuck over night in Atlanta on different trips to different locations in different months. My father in law eventually passed and shortly after I was struck with Bells Palsey. Then to top it off, I get a 30 day notice on 11-16. As of yet, I still haven't found out the status of my job situation that I should have been fired from on 12-16 for essentially no reason. There really is not a lot of hiring going on around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. I am waiting for things to get better and hope to see a start in 2011. Mike
  17. WOW! Love the color combo! It turned out great! Nice job on the details. Mike
  18. looks great. I also like the 300 you did. I could be wrong, but I think he means a monitor. they make monitors you can draw on now and I believe the studio he works works at has them. Mike
  19. I know pic #7 is the back to one of those Tom Daniel's Vettes. I believe the Camaro SS grill is from a MPC annual kit. Marc Nellis has some of those and can tell you exactly which kit it is from.
  20. Nice job so far. it is coming along nicely. Yea, gotta love the 80's. Can't you tell it was going to have some big motor with a blower on it? Ahh those were the days. Mike
  21. Sorry for the delay. I had to dig it up and get a pick. After putting them together, it looks like the Courier may be a little small. Especially with the Mustang being from Revell and the Courier from AMT, though it is a small truck. Here is a pic of them together with the box end behind them. Mike
  22. Wow, this looks truely beautiful! I cant wait for it to come out. I find it ironic I had just been asked to work up some ideas for a full size custom one. I cant get over the detail I'm seeing already. Thanks for the pics! Mike
  23. I always love your interiors. Its a shame you have to hide it inside a body. Mike
  24. Man, not only do I remember this kit, but I have the perfect tow vehicle for it. Remember the Monroe Ranger? It is nice to see one of these being built. Mike
  25. That turned out really nice. I still love this color. You are going to make me break one of mine out and get building again. I wish I could right now. Mike
