  1. Very nice! Well detailed and looks like the real car!
  2. If it is just a baseboard heater, you should be fine. I would be more concerned if there was a build up of fumes and an open spark or flame nearby.
  3. Much like Kyle Petty, the shadow of his father was much too big for him to ever step out of. I would like to think Dale Jr might have achieved more in his career had his father not died when he did.
  4. very nice, well detailed and excellent paint!
  5. Outstanding work on those two and as previously mentioned, incredible detail and paint work! I continue to find it impressive when a builder in a far country nails the details on a model from the US!
  6. I am liking this build but I have to admit I think that wing on the back looks like something right out of a Pep Boy's store.
  7. Lord knows he isn't hurting financially, has his hands in multiple businesses, and doing TV is a natural for him. I know he wants to race, but it will be up to his doctors if he gets in a race car again. I would welcome him taking Darrell Waltrip's place on the Fox broadcasts, after 16 years I am tired of his Boogity schtick.
  8. Harry, Are you able to wear earbuds or headphones? With your vast music knowledge, surely you have some favorite music to listen to to pass the time! I get the whole daytime TV thing, I was unemployed earlier this year and went nuts after the first day I was off!
  9. After trying to get to this show for over 10 years, I am finally going this weekend! Looking forward to spending some saved up lunch money and enjoying the scenery!
  10. Count me in as a buyer if these were Parts Packs!
  11. Do you mean Truck rally wheel? Scenes Unlimited offers a resin version of the GM truck rally wheel. He also sells some nice dually wheels and tires, much better that what is in that wrecker kit. I agree with Brian that the best 73-80 GM truck is the MPC 78 Chevy stepside, but that kit is hard to find and not cheap. It is a 2wd and builds nicely. The recent Revell 77 GMC pickup with snow plow is better than the wrecker but still has it's issues.
  12. Tower Hobbies has them in stock. $39.99 with free shipping. Modelroundup has it for $35.90 Megahobby has it for $36.86 RPP Hobby has it for $33.99 If you can make it to Hobby Lobby and they still have it, that would be your best bet.
  13. Well, you still have time!
  14. Nice job Brian, looks sweet and love the mods you did to it! You headed to Atlanta this weekend to the NNL?
  15. Looks good from where I am sitting!
  16. If you are going to build them, go for it! You might be able to trade them if you decide not to build them and there is always eBay!
  17. Happy Birthday Harry! Continued wishes and prayers for a complete recovery and here's to many more birthdays in your future.
  18. Dang it Revell! I have been trying to scale back the purchases and you keep bringing us new stuff! I see a couple of each of those kits in my future, thanks for sharing Gerry!
  19. Considering the body mods made to the 1:1 F100, a 2n1 kit is probably out of the question. That said, until the kit is in our hands, not sure what all would have to be done to make one a stock vehicle, but I would suspect Revell does and a year or two from now we will see a stock version of the 56 F100.
  20. Not surprised Bob! I am sure you will do it justice! Looking forward to attending your show after 11 years of trying. Been saving my lunch money and been donating platelets to get enough money for the swap meet! LOL~
  21. Harry, You are so right! A friend of mine was at the celebration and he said there were a TON of young school age kids there, probably a reason for the large crowd and hopefully the lack of mischief ! I had already moved away when the Sox last won the WS, how do the two celebrations compare? (Arrests, crowd size, looting, etc)
  22. Wouldn't be surprised to see a couple in Atlanta next weekend!
  23. You are going to need a bit of a lift ! Nice, I have one to start this week.
  24. If you have a Harbor Freight or Northern Tool store near you, check out their miscellaneous tool section, lots of things that might be used. I have an old adjustable length stand with alligator clips on the ends that comes in handy when painting. I also picked up some mini clamps at Sears, some with suction cup bases, to use for assembly and detail painting.
