  1. It also included a trailer and HD motorcycle. Hard to say if the molds have been modified but if they haven't, then there is a chance it could be reissued, depending on how it sold first time around.
  2. I am waiting on my order from July. I ordered one of their '60's Dodge pickups and the Shasta camper. Not sure if I will build the two at the same time as a package or use them separately. Sure would be nice to hear that someone was going to pick up some or all of their line and continue the tradition.
  3. Going to be a hobby bench weekend here in Charlotte. The weather people are calling for anywhere from a trace to 8 inches by tomorrow followed by cold weather so I plan on taking it easy and watching a lot of sports and recorded programs.
  4. Don't worry, you have surpassed my skill level already. Very impressive build and details on this model, your patience and attention to getting the details correct is what sets you apart from some of us. I have never built a model with such detail and accuracy as my builds don't make it to model shows, they are for me and my model room.
  5. Looking good, nice start to replicating the truck. What color is it going to be?
  6. Continue to impress with the details Scott! That is looking fantastic. And despite what a wife might say, you can never have too many models!
  7. I will work on getting my order together and by the time I use those items you should have the dump bed done!
  8. Kenny is a great guy, not sure he checks his email as regularly as most of us. In addition to the resin casting, he is a builder too and has a graphics business that is full time. Some times of the year are extremely busy for him as he does a bunch of race car graphics. His attendance at local shows has been cut back because of time.
  9. Looking very nice, great save!
  10. Looks great, should be fun to see that on tables at the SCMA show in 2 weeks. Make sure you save your lunch money, I will be there with a bunch of kits to sell off!
  11. Instead of griping about why the magazine is not published on time on the forum provided by the publisher, I suggest that you email Gregg directly and get an answer from him as he is the one in charge. I think Gregg explained the difficulties he is having with getting the magazine printed and shipped but maybe an email to him will help you better understand.
  12. They are calling for some snow event this weekend in the Carolinas. Not sure where the storm will track so they (weather forecasters) are covering their butts by saying we could get anywhere from a trace to 8 inches! Told the wife we better stock up on food now because if they keep screaming snow on the news, the stores will be emptied by Friday morning. The upside is that we are supposed to be back to the 50's by Tuesday so whatever snow we do get, won't last long. If the snow was forecast to possibly hit us on Friday, we would be talking school and business closures, something we rarely saw growing up in Northern Illinois.
  13. Not that I can remember, but if there was, it is probably fairly rare and would be expensive. Most vans were tooled up with the longer wheelbase. You might be better off starting with the Revell Chevy Van and make the modifications needed. Not sure how well the old A-Team Van grille would fit, but it is a GMC.
  14. Check out Scenes Unlimited for dually wheels and tires. Danny has some nice resin! Great guy and service!
  15. It isn't new owners, Gregg has owned this magazine since it's inception, it is the fact the long time printers went out of business and Gregg had to take on a lot more responsibility that he previously didn't have. A message to Gregg should get you the explanation you want.
  16. Check with Bandit Resins, I believe Kenny has the grille you are looking for.
  17. X2! He is among the best in terms of service and quality.
  18. Thanks for the update Harry. While it is encouraging that you are able to be at home, I am sure you are looking into different living arrangements so you do not have to deal with stairs and other troublesome things. Continued prayers for your recovery and better days!
  19. I was able to fit the chassis from the recently reissued 84 GMC 4x4 pickup under the 65 Chevy pickup to make it a 4wd and I will plan on doing the same once the Suburban comes out to convert it to 4WD.
  20. I have completed that many models in the last 5 years! Nice job on all of them and love the variety!
  21. Who knew the guy who builds super pro mod cars can also build some outstanding "stock" cars? Nice job on all of them Tyrone, you definitely know how to build clean, well detailed models regardless of the type.
  22. Perfectly said Bill! Thanks for sharing Harry, hope you are continuing on the road to recovery, miss having you on here.
  23. Nice model, that blue is very deep! I am a bit confused when you say Ray was not happy about your comments because you also mentioned Holthaus kits, where did that kit originate? The pictures make that body look like a plastic kit!
  24. That is about $7300 a year, and I doubt it will get any cheaper! I never smoked (tried it, didn't like it) but my parents and older siblings did. Despite quitting some time ago, my oldest brother is now battling lung cancer. My parents quit late in life and they lived into their 90's!
  25. 6 weeks after my father passed away, my mother had a series of minor strokes. They had been married 68 years and 11 months at the time of his passing. She hung on for another 18 months but eventually passed away after a massive stroke. I prefer to think she died of a broken heart because I talked to her everyday after my father's funeral up until she could no longer talk and every conversation included how much she missed him and wanted to be together again in heaven.
