  6. That's a good thought. I kept the rod high because of the connecting point. I would have to put a significant bend in the steering rod, but it could be done.

  9. After fiddling with the grill for some time I decided a new direction was needed. And with a donated 58 Edsel grill this is what I came up with. Also getting a few more things sorted out...

  13. I saw a picture of a Blown Flatty and thought that would be perfect! So with a little imagineering and spare parts this is what I came up with. I think it will work just fine...
  14. The way I understand it, the tire business was taken over by a son. From what I read in an email, this would be considered a new product.
  15. Looking sharp, I like the right side 3/4 pic. You could detail the wheels some also, a little chrome on the lugnuts and maybe some blash wash perhaps.

  19. Thought I might share an inside look at how I went about this chop, you can see where the cuts were made. One thing I did wrong is the vertical window cuts should have been closer to the outside of the body. This would have eliminated the need for that filler piece at the lower corners. I did this once before and it lined up so well hardly any filler was needed except to smooth the sail panels. The diagram below has been shared before but if you study the plan and follow the steps you'll be pleased with the results...
