  1. Nice, clean, sharp model.
  2. Looks great! Very good detail.
  3. A decal nightmare. Always liked this car and you did a great job on the model.
  4. I checked the website quite often last weekend. They show models on the site that are sold out with a "sign" across the picture. Just thought a reply to my email sometime this week would've been nice. Guess they can't be bothered but why have a "contact us" if they don't answer your question?
  5. Not a big irk but last week Salvino's JR Models sent me an email saying they'd have the 2023 Ford NASCAR models on their website sometime on the weekend for pre-order. I want the Ryan Blaney car and they point out these will be limited quantities so beware. They never showed up on the website so Monday I emailed them asking for an update. I've heard nothing.
  6. Looks like a fun build and the eyelashes add to the goofy figure and diorama. Nice work!
  7. Great looking model! Always thought this car looked odd as a drag racer.
  8. Nice work and definitely some good conversation starters for your guests.
  9. The Rebel Machine would be a nice addition but that's a one-of-a-kind car and can't be done any other way.
  10. Don't know how I missed this one until now. Great looking model! Yes, Tamiya kits are the best and so are their paints. The only complaint I have is there is usually so much detail that ends up being covered up when you're done but that's not really a complaint. Just an observation. I've learned to not detail every bit of suspension or drivetrain by looking ahead and see if it will be covered. Still enjoy all the perfect parts though. I look forward to more of your race car models.
  11. Great pictures of some great looking dogs.
  12. That's too bad. Always liked her. She was in Slap Shot with Paul Newman also.
  13. A couple of dealers I used to have my cars serviced at had a big display case in their service department with various parts taken from cars. Black clogged air filters, brake pads with no pads, etc. Quite entertaining to look at.
  14. LOL This is exactly what I was thinking when I saw the title. I'll bet you had fun with this. Good job!
  15. That body is very busy with paint and decals but looks great. Your interior looks great too. Thanks for sharing the pics and experience.
  16. I understand your irk about the NE forecasters. I live on the opposite side of the country and I'm aware of your situation every winter! No need to educate you about the obvious.
  17. I don't really have any special skills toward making the dents and scrapes. I use a candle and a slow process of heating areas and then use various pliers to push and grab the part of the model. Use other tools to gouge an area. Flat brown paint to the holes and edges and smeared with my finger. Grey and silver on the scrapes and damaged areas. It relies more on your eye and what looks good to you. The easy part is the model needs to look bad so you can't really screw it up. Thanks for the nice comments.
  18. Far out.....dude!
  19. An amazing model! Enjoyed your pictures. So real looking!
  20. Noticed that "Lastly in automotive" bit but the term "Super excited" was used WAY more. Overall, he is a pretty good spokesman for the company. I've seen much worse.
  21. Nice looking models. Those paint schemes had to be a pain.

She wouldn't have a clue. Only remembered the color and stripe.
  23. It is sad that he's been stricken with this disease but man.....the fact he's made it this far is amazing. I'm also a fan from the Black Sabbath days and hope the best for him.
  24. Atlantis kit that I wasn't impressed with so decided to build a jalopy out of it. Enjoyed making a roll bar, gutting the dashboard, and interior panels to look realistic but can't see that but I know it's there. Wheels and tires from the parts box. Brush painted the body.
  25. A nice kit by Revell. Got this as a Christmas present several years ago from my sister-in-law because her boyfriend in high school had this car. Used Testors red paint.
