  1. You've done a very nice job replicating his cars. I've always been a big fan myself and built a few models. Tough to find photos though.
  2. Ordered one of those big model display cases from Carney Plastics. FedEx gonna deliver it today. Guess what? Now it's showing the dreaded "pending" delivery date which means ........whenever they get around to it.
  3. I like what you've done here. Hopefully you will come up with some more projects like this. robertw has the same idea I have done in the past and the Jetsons model was one I had built.
  4. Always liked his different style of humor. Sad to hear of this. I can always hear his voice delivering funny lines.
  5. I remember McDonalds when they had those "shoots" and the different burgers would get made and lined up in them. The counter workers would yell to the cooks if any of them got low so they'd make more of that particular burger to fill it again. Seemed much faster back then. Real fresh fries too. And triple-thick shakes. Also remember standing in line way back when and a survey was being done with various customers. They were asking questions about breakfast stuff and I wondered what that was all about. Got my answer later on.
  6. Good for Round 2 sending you those parts. Long ago I got in the habit of opening a new kit and checking that all parts are there and that nothing is broken or warped. I may not build the kit for years so good to check now before it's too late.
  7. You did a great job! Always thought this was a strange paint scheme and wonder who came up with it.
  8. I've said before that Tamiya spray cans make me look like a better painter than I really am. Mostly use them and Testors Model Master and regular Testors for paint jobs I don't need to be perfect. Used an air brush many years ago and can see the advantage when you need to "fog" an area or just paint a very small area but I get by without it these days.
  9. I think his drum playing in a certain song will forever be etched in our memory. I thank him for that.
  10. Decided to watch the Steve Magnante show and it wasn't bad. The guy speaks well so that helps the show out and I like how he mixes in real car stuff with the model he's building which was the Dodge Hemi he once owned. A few things that surprised me was twisting parts off the trees, spray painting inside the house and it seemed he used the wrong sized brush when painting things. I'll watch more as I thought the show was pretty good overall.
  11. I realize we're not all professionals when it comes to making a video but I just got done watching and was a bit embarrassed for these guys. A few cars were mentioned above for possible releases. Jimmy Flintstone has a Deathmobile, I think Fujimi has the Mad Max Interceptor, and there was a 1/32nd scale Green Hornet. I want a proper Bluesmobile for sure!
  12. Used to be a small restaurant near us that had the best biscuits and gravy I ever had. They'd throw a couple of fried eggs on top. Sadly, the Covid deal has put them out of business.
  13. This is great! Perfect! You need to take some pictures outside and I'll bet it will look even more real....if that's possible.
  14. You're right. I was too lazy to look it up but see he died May 29th. Only Betty White left from the show and I think she's gonna live forever.
  15. I believe Gavin MacLeod is still around? Ed Asner is another one of those actors who wasn't known for comedy but will forever be mostly remembered for his great character on the Mary Tyler Moore show.
  16. Always enjoy looking at what N and HO scale has to offer even though I'm not building them. Just like to see other hobbies that people are in to. Lots of parts and instructions for such a tiny kit.
  17. That girl on the guitar is unreal. How can anyone be that talented? I watched her play Eruption from Eddie Van Halen fame and was mesmerized.
  18. Great looking replica of the real car! Nice job. Didn't Eric Bana have one of these?
  19. Very nice job on this model! Your paint job really stands out. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Popular place. This diorama is great! I could look at these pictures for hours and your attention to detail is what I always like to look at when someone builds a diorama. All those figures had to test your patience but I'm guessing you enjoyed doing them. Thanks for sharing.
  21. Always fun to watch the opposite actions of Watts and Jagger. Watts almost looked bored playing the drums while Jagger looked like he was let loose from a cage.
  22. Always enjoy listening to Pink Floyd except for one song; Money. The radio used to play that song to death and to this day I can't listen to it. Any other song I'll gladly listen to but not that one. Appreciate the talented playing even more these days as you hear the classic technology used back then.
  23. I like both of your Late Models but this one looks better to me so thought I'd comment here. Thanks for sharing something we don't see very often.
  24. Very nice and appropriate timing.
