  1. On a whim, I decided to make a steering column support loop for this project. No idea what possessed me to tackle this. It was totally unplanned and not something I would usually tackle. I blame you guys and all the model car related YouTube videos I watch.? It was actually very easy. Two small holes were drilled into the front roll bar behind the dashboard. The support loop is just a piece of paper clip cut to size. Then that will be fitted into the holes after the steering column is installed. For now, I’ll leave it off until the roll bar is painted and the instrument panel is detailed.
  2. Those ‘74 Firebirds have me drooling all over my self…?
  3. A part of me says I will never build the same kit twice. But I know it’s total bs. I’ve built like three or four Monogram ‘69 Z28s. But I’ll “never” build it again. So anyway , let me tell you my plans for the next Monogram ‘69 Camaro I’m bench racing.
  4. Same here. I don’t even have the kit yet, but I’ve been bench racing ideas already.
  5. Ravaged by Jackals! I have to use that one sometime. ?
  6. More junk shop finds. I’ve always really liked the Ferrari 458. Beautiful cars.
  7. Wow, two years? That’s pretty bad. Glad you got something better. Sleep is so important. I don’t get enough, but it’s not the mattress in my case.
  8. I’m a sucker for a good deal on old aircraft kits. Brought these home yesterday.
  9. Hey guys, I’ve never done a group build before, but I’ve been thinking about it for a few months now. I recently signed up for one starting in January, and I’m pretty excited. But being a rookie to the concept, is there anything I should know going into it? I mean beyond following the rules of the gb . What I’m asking is, are there any unspoken dos or don’ts I should be aware of?
  10. Fort Wayne is FINALLY starting to get a few different kits. It’s not much, but at least we’re starting to see some. I picked up the vette and lotus.
  11. Wow, that is CLEAN. Gorgeous build.?
  12. I have that one and after opening the box decided not to mess with it any further. Yours is making me rethink that decision. Man, that looks great!?
  13. The Firebird kit seems vaguely familiar. Is that a snap kit?
  14. This guy must live in Detroit.
  15. I've thought about this so many times. Always makes me a little sad too when you see something like this when it's just been forgotten and discarded. Glad to see one coming back from the dead. That's gonna be killer when you get it all together.
  16. Wow, that turned out fantastic. The color is absolutely gorgeous ?
  17. That looks fast just sitting there! Great work!
  18. My kind of build! This looks great. Excellent color choice too.?
  19. Thank you! I appreciate your feedback. It's all finished and posted in the under glass section now.
  20. Wow Bill, you're on a roll. Can't wait to see it all come together. Those are some really cool old trains.
  21. Love this one!?. I know what I’m getting for everyone on my list now.?
  22. Dang... Ok, so which one of you guys wants all my tools. ?
  23. I'm guessing it's a regional thing. Probably has a lot (or everything) to do with what the nearest distribution center gets. I've been to many ollie's stores within a 2-3 hour radius of my home, and they all look just like that or worse. Fingers crossed some of these good kits start making their way closer.
