  1. I told ya they were nice, Casey.?
  2. Mike, if this video works, it explains the bed doors at about 5 minutes into the video.
  3. No, it was on a stamp Casey. I did find an image of the stamp on line. ?
  4. Looks great Pat. Sure is great to have that old buggy back again.
  5. Finally got this thing finished. It fought me at every turn for the last few weeks. Not my cleanest build but it's not too bad I guess considering what I was trying to do. I really didn't think I was going to like the front end but it kinda came together after the grille and lights were installed. Also. this is the Revell kit with the custom front and rear pan and tail light bezels from the AMT '65 Impala annual kit. The intake and valve covers are from the AMT '70 Impala. Anyway,, the pics,,,,
  6. Now that's some koolness right there! ?
  7. Nice work on those fenders Steve. I find getting them even is pretty difficult. You guys keep building these wicked Camaros I might have to dig this one back out. Started 20 years ago and the paint went south on me so it's stripped and ready for new bodywork. The white paint sure hides the flared fenders though.

    Looks great Tom.

    1969 corvette

They look exactly like the ones in this '69 brochure pic?
  10. Looks cool. ? Has kinda an '80s vibe going on with those turbine mags. There was a burgundy '57 stepside in my town with those on it back in the '80s.

    '70 Malibu

Thanks everyone. Hopefully the next car I post will be a fresh build. ?
  12. The chrome wheels in the kit are the aluminum factory option wheels. The second set of wheels in the kit are a set of unplated factory style 8 spoke "wagon wheels" Both are very nicely done.
  13. Mine does. and it also shows the glass on the instruction sheet.
  14. Yup. All I did was snip off the vert front of the frame rails that stick out to hold the bumper. When I put it together I cut the center section from the floor and trimmed it to fill in the blank area in the middle. And that's all there was to it. Also you can use the inaccurate inner fenders as is but I made new ones from a 2nd gen MPC Firebird chassis plate. Just had to make them a little wider with sheet plastic. Here's a link to the rest of the build. https://public.fotki.com/SteveMilberry/projects/stepside-72-chevy-/
  15. Same here. Mine's also white.
  16. That looks fantastic Ryan. I'll PM you after work tomorrow to work out details. ?
  17. Wonder if that kit or it'd firetruck redo would ever see the light of day again. I kinda doubt it.
  18. Looks great Mark. First time for me seeing one finished too and I do have one 1/2 built on a Buttera chassis. Love the paint.
  19. Yea, that's exactly what I was thinking.
  20. Ah, I didn't notice that.
  21. Looks great. That color really makes it stand out.
  22. They're also in the AMT custom and competition parts pack that was issued in the AMT/Ertl days in the blue box and the XR6/27 T Pheaton kit.
  23. No hurry Ryan. I honestly have no idea how long it'll take me to getting around to the car.
