  1. Mark, Real nice project. Glad to see that you brought it back to the workbench . Looking real good from where I am! Be Well Gator
  2. Sergey, I remember this build thread from when you started this project . I just went through the whole thing to see what I've missed in my absence. Truly impressive work . Glad I came back to this Forum. Be Well Gator
  3. Kurt, This is a really cool project. And I am sure you will do it justice. Have enjoyed the thread thus far. Be Well Gator
  4. Herman, I just went through your entire build thread here. I am amazed at what you are building here . I assemble models and may at times attempt to modify or add scratch built parts. But you are a true craftsman. I am an American living in the Philippines . And we see the Fuso brand here a lot. The trucks are imported in pieces and sold as Japan surplus. This due to customs import fees .Last year I finished one of the Hasegawa Fuso kits. While they are a pleasant addition to the model trucks available. Those kits leave much to be desired . This thread is much appreciated by me. Thank you for you detailed photos and explanations . Be Well Gator
  5. Warren, I missed the beginning of this project. And as some one said "you got a pile of resin there " I have to ask out of shear curiosity. How much money have you got in this project ? I also use the grimy black or Nato black on my painted tires . And your look spot on ! Like the tires chains . But doubt I will ever go there . The conversion to all wheel drive is nice . I have a couple of projects that I intend to do that on . Nice work thus far ! Be Well Gator
  6. Herman, Like wow man ! Some nice work here . I like your modifications . Be Well Gator
  7. Ray, That is an interesting subject. Not something one would see everyday. You have my attention ! Be Well Gator
  8. Jerry, I like that kitas a dump truck. Though I have never built a snow plow . Only saw snow in Miami once . And it for sure doesn't snow .Where I am in the Philippines ! Liking what you've done thus far. Keep up the good work ! Be Well Gator
  9. Tom , I have been watching you build models from afar for several years now . And you just seem to keep raising the bar ! Having worked on a paving crew I can relate to the machine . If there is one thing I would change ( might be tto late ?) It would be the hinges on the hopper wings . The way they are now . Would obstruct the slide of the asphalt a bit. And again I saw what you have done here is really cool and way above my pay grade ! Be Well Gator
  10. Herman , That ism one ambitious project. But it looks like you have the skills and building technique to make it come together ! Be Well Gator
  11. Bill, Now that looks good in Black and gold. Sharp combination. I also like your headache rack/toolbox. Looks awesome ! Be Well Gator
  12. Brian , Nice work on that chassis ! I really like the wheels and tires . Great choice. Will be following this from afar ! Be Well Gator
  13. Ben, That is a great choice for the build off . Its too bad they didn't do that likt in 1/25th scale. Looking forward to see what you do with this one. The suspension swap is a good idea ! Be Well Gator
  14. Jordan , That looks like an interesting project. I will be following this one . Be Well Gator
  15. Dan, You are making good progress on a really n ice kit. I have a couple of different releases of the KW in my stash. Nice work on the frame. Those ejector pin marks are a real pain. looking forward to seeing how you finish this one out . Be Well Gator
  16. Bill, First of all I got to say. I really like your paint job abd your choice of colors.. Really looks good . Be Well Gator

  18. I saw this in the Under Glass section. And was totally amazed .I am glad I found the build section for this project. I had made a comment early on. But then my participation here dropped off to next to nothing. Really nice wrok youy did on this one.. Be Well Gator

  20. Geoffrey, Wow dude ! Two models at the same time. And you are super detailing both of them . What you've done thus far, looks real good from here ! Be Well Gator
  21. Like most everyone else. I have the same situation going on here. I actually have models I started back in the early 80's . That for whatever reason. Have not been finished . In reality I like the time spent at the workbench and don't worry so much about the finished project. Besides there are not that many people that will ever see my built model in person anyway. Keep on keep'in on ! Be Well Gator
  22. Kerry. Very interesting project you have here. I like the switch to twin booms. Looking good ! Be Well Gator
  23. Jerry, A suggestion. Take a fine scotch britie pad and knock down some of the thick paint on the roof. I think that would look really good. Be Well Gator
  24. Jerry, I like your color choice. And I also ,like what you've done already on this one. Be Well Gator
  25. Andrew, I really like the weathering on the cab and chassis thus far . It is looking pretty from here . Be Well Gator
