  1. Go to page 12 of this post, I point out the issues on the Custom kit, not sure how many of them carry over to the Del Rio though.
  2. Very nice build ups!
  3. Reasonable is a key word.
  4. Great job! Ya won the pole first time out. I have one on the back burner. Been thinking of doing full detail and plumbing, but as I looked at reference photos I am rethinking it. Would take me a year to do.
  5. Is pointing out apparent visual flaws really considered bashing? Reason I ask is because I pretty much was the one that pointed out the body issues. Will it keep me from buying one? No, but it will keep me from buying several.
  6. Do not feel bad about the little paint problem. I am working on a GTO that has been fighting me all the way. It is in the Purple bath for the 4th time! Keep plugging along, it looks great so far. You painting details will stand out nicely when finished.
  7. Looks good. Ernie was never the same after that Michigan crash. Competetive? Yes In 1994, when he crashed, he missed the last 11 races and still finished 22nd in points
  8. It is a 2 door, guess they modified it to a 4 door.... They came as a Road Runner also
  9. She's clean, underneath looks like the hood. Love the stupid thing and it gets 39 MPG on the road, more if I keep the speed down a bit. Now wears Contour wheels
  10. Really? Something happened along the way then. The slotted wheels were included in my Coddington American Hot Rod edition and they were perfect.
  11. Sweet looking ride. What the engine come from BTW?
  12. Love Galaxies. Looking forward to watching this
  13. That bad boy needs some Chrome reversed wheels on it! Looking great too. BTW, I would not have considered it a glue bomb at all, I am working on a Marlin I had to cut the interior out of and use a dremel to remove the windows!
  14. Another suggestion, paint the timing cover Aluminum since that's what they were. Be sure the squared part of the valve cover is in the front also.
  15. Problem I had when I purchased a few sheets, it began to wrinkle, then when I peeled it it came apart at the wrinkle. I tossed 3 sheets cuz they were so bad I couldn't salvage anything over 1/2 inch
  16. I'd want to build the Glidden Pro Stock and some fictional ones also. a nice Turbo or SHO powered one would be cool. I see one everyday cuz I drive it. But I am weird too.
  17. All I know is I want one. No, not paying $120 for it tho. I'd love to see the EXP again also. They were nice kits.
  18. HAHAHAHA.... We posted them at same time also. I'd like to see this also.....
  19. Watching this build. Heard bad things but it sure looks good built.
  20. Supercharger option! Woo Hoo. I am gonna get one of these probably. If I can fix the rear quarters fairly easy an figure the front bumper issue, I may get another. Surely (sadly too) will not be as many as the stash of Fairlane 500's I have
  21. If you look close, I bowed the front down starting at the center of the front wheels. Stands out next to a stock body build. Thanks for the comments. These are usually my slump buster builds. Got a bit carried away with details on this one tho.
