    one word...... Kool!
  2. Great job on it. The extras set it off nicely. I do not have the 53 but I do have the 55 which is probably about the same kit and it is pretty nice piece. Yea, these old kits need some attention but they look good when done.
  3. Nice looking 71! You did it justice for sure! Crude start or not it came out very nicely. I only see some minor issues with the print that could be fixed easily I think. Probably the reason I see them is I own one of these cars.

The hood modification and working lights make it stand out. The mods done make it unique for sure. As for bodywork, practice practice practice. I know when I started on more major mods, I think I sanded more than I didn't. I actually went thru a lot of filler learning. Never stop!
  5. You did a wonderful job on that Fairlane!!!!
  6. That paint is sick!!!!!!
  7. Looks really nice to me!
  8. Great job! I really like the wheels and caps
  9. 3 Ollie's stores and a Hobby Lobby and came home empty handed.... Couldn't find what I was wanting ?
  10. Had a very good experience trading with AFXMustang. Good communication and a smooth transaction. Thanks bud
  11. Looks good. Shocked you had fit issues. I've built some of these without issue.
  12. Congrats!!! Been trying to finish one of these for years!!!! Looks great!
  13. You can never go wrong with black. Nice build!
  14. That is unique and pretty cool. Will obviously get you to the airport on time! The military had 8 built but were not exactly as this resin kit depicts. There is only one known to exist.
  15. Good looking roadster! Looks to be Hunter green in my eye. Nothing wrong with rattle can paint, all of mine are and honestly, they can be wet sanded and buffed to look like a quality airbrush job.
  16. Wow, I forgot that and shouldn't have, there is one in my stash.
  17. Shame on you for learninng me something, I didn't know they made 62 through 65's
  18. Nice, I wish they were still made because the revell body needs a lot of work to look right. I did cut up a 57 Fairlane body to correct a two-door sedan body and I'm doing a Del Rio also. It wasn't that difficult but I've got so many kids to build I don't have time to be correcting things, otherwise the revell 57s would be on my list of must-haves
  19. AMT 59 thru 61 Mercury's come to mind.
  20. Who's is that? Looks better than the Reveal kit body.
  21. There was also a yellow one with fender flares and extra spoilers
  22. Looks great
