  1. Very well done! I really like the vinyl roof treatment, but it might be missing a tiny bit of chrome at the bottom of the A pillar IMHO.
  2. Chuckle...I think you meant "withdrawal" but never mind. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, sir!
  3. Those stained-glass windows are a nice (and unusual) touch.
  4. Are there copyright dates on the instructions or decals?
  5. I built exactly the same models.
  6. What is your first language? Your profile states "eastern states" as a location (gosh, how vague can you be)...were you born there, or did you come from a different locale? If you are native-born, using the second language excuse is merely that, an excuse. I join some others in asking what you're trying to accomplish, other than bonding some weird paper (not watercolor) to styrene? And, as others have also asked, can you give us an idea of the ultimate part? Are you trying an off-beat approach to a vinyl roof? Or a spray-in pickup truck bed liner? You're not supplying enough information! You're making it very difficult to assist you, and you have some of the very best on this forum trying to do so.
  7. Make sure you get the correct shade of pink. Otherwise, it might look like a Mary Kaye Cosmetics car!
  8. I use air tools (impact wrenches, chisels, etc.) so I have a larger compressor with twin tanks. I run a long hose from the compressor to a combo regulator/water trap (from micro mark), then a hose from that to the airbrush. The micro mark regulator only goes up to 70 psi, but that's fine for airbrushing because it allows finer adjustments than a regulator that goes to 150 psi. I keep the distance from the water trap to the airbrush at a minimum. All connections are quick disconnect with adaptors as required.
  9. Does it come with a 327?
  10. OK, let me re-phrase my question. Can a 3D printer print more than one color at the same time (such as steel rims and gold spokes, as shown above)?
  11. Out of curiosity, are those awesome wheels printed in two different colors or have they been painted?
  12. Extremely nice save! You can tweak it even more (without risk) by washing the chrome between the headlights. Spend a whopping dollar or so, and get some kids' watercolor paints then wash the area between the headlights. After that dries, use a dampened business card to wipe away the excess. The results are shown below on a '40 Ford grille.
  13. As a suggestion, purchase a pediatric toothbrush (these have the softest bristles) at your local pharmacy. When cleaning the paintbrush, use the toothbrush to help brush the paint out of the bristles, particularly the bristles near the ferrule.
  14. Another beauty! I was mildly surprised to see a column shift on a car with all that horsepower.
  15. Michael's also gives a discount (every day) to Veterans. Just show them proof of service, such as an ID, DD-214, etc. I carry a reduced-size copy of my discharge and DD-214 in my wallet.
  16. Based on the dual exhausts, I'd say a 283 with a 4 bbl carb, possibly two 4 bbl carbs.
  17. What are you using to clean your brushes?
  18. Excellent job on that '57. I had a 1:1 in silver many moons ago, and your model brings back fond memories. It's also refreshing to see the front fender liners, radiator saddle, etc. done properly in black, not the body color. The firewall was the only area in the engine compartment that matched the primary body color.
  19. Another product that will work is a disposable aluminum baking pan (although it won't rust). They come in many sizes at your local grocery store and are more than price competitive with the above product.
  20. The model looks great! The work surface...detracts from the model.
  21. I agree. I'll bet all those little red stripes in the wheel covers were a fun thing to do. What technique did you use?
  22. Micro Mark also offers small bits.
  23. Very nicely done! Is it my tired old eyes or are the door handles missing?
