Nice work!! My dad drove one of these from time to time from Wilco truck leasing. When his truck was down. They were white with blue and red reflective stripes on them. I never really liked them then, but these things sure bring back some good memories. I went back and looked at the one that I built years ago. I had raised the bumper on it, but I couldn't remember why I had removed the chrome trim around the grill. Well I guess now I know. It was so that the cab would tilt.

I don't know if there was an issue with the chrome on these kits or what, but I have seen several built A Models that the chrome has turned red on. Some were pretty nice builds too.

This is a truck that I built close to 20 years ago. It is at my brother's house, so while I was there today, I snapped a couple of pictures. Keep in mind this was my first attempt at scratch building anything. The rack for the flag truck is a little too steep, but all in all I was pretty satisfied with it.

I went to my trusty parts box to get some much needed parts and found that I had 1/2 of a piggyback brake chamber, 1 single diaphragm brake chamber, and 1 fuel tank mount. I tried my luck at casting once again and cast the rest. They turned out pretty good, considering that a few weeks ago I had never cast anything. Thanks for all the comments and encouragement!!

You have really got some skills!! You have captured the look of the 351 for sure!!! My favorite builds are old school builds. This one looks like it drove right up out of 1969.

If you can find one, Bobby Griffen, "Griffen Designs" made one several years ago. It was just like the truck that you have pictured. I had one of these and the quality was pretty good, but I sold it before I had a chance to use it.
