  1. Man, I too wish they would come back. But I think they are long, long gone, the tooling recycled years ago. Until somebody 3D scans and starts printing them, modelers will never see them again.
  2. Indeed! The Sharks smell blood, and the Rats are jumping ship!
  3. Great Stuff Coming from Round2! Will the '60 Ford P/U have any optional Wheels, besides the stock hupcaps? HPI Guy has a Sodbuster Kit, (and the Batmobile too!) and promises a build of the Sodbuster soon. Cannot wait for that. The '67 Merc Comet is a pass for me. I have 2 of the first releases, and new tires and decals will not open my wallet. A 3 n 1 kit would have done so. I'm really, really curious to see exactly what parts are in the '34 Ford Coupe. No Signage calling out a 2 n 1, so I guess it will be only the hotrod version. The Small Block Chevy in that kit has some great Dress Up parts for the engine. THe '65 Elky with the camper this time! Sign Me up! A great option for that kit. Lastly for me, the '92 & '96 Chevy Trucks will get a close look. Thar '96 Dually (Doolie) in particular should be a great Tow Vehicle. A Suggestion for Round2. Next Release of the Dually, pair it with the 2 axle trailer from Mod Stock Hauler, or the MPC Clear Trailer. Both Trailer tools have been run recently, and the MPC Trailer and Dually was released that way about 25 years ago. Go Round2!
  4. Thanks, Tim. Read with great Interest.
  5. What do the Wheels / Tires, look like? Different wheels in each version? Do they have Decals?
  6. I was just given this kit. Looks nice in the box. I think I'll build the Gasser.
  7. I saw that box, and assumed it might be the old kit. New Kit makes more sense. They may not even use this box art. We should know in about a year, what is in the box.
  8. The smaller shocks are for the 'standard height' 4x4 option, I believe. Built without the big, Raising Blocks at every spring perch, the kit should produce a "factory" 4x4 truck. At least I hope so. My 'Deserter" kit is destined to be a County Fire Brush Truck.
  9. Stu, add the Freight Train to that list, please. Got to see it at a Cacklefest at Famosa about 5 years ago! Awesome!
  10. I've been fooled before. I'll wait until others have bough some.
  11. So, what's it looks like, Gregg?
  12. Great to have you aboard, Jeff. I'm in Kern County, Does that Count? LOL
  13. Good to have you, Warren! What kind of builds are you primarily interested in?
  14. Was that kit molded in Multiple Colours? Great Looking Build!
  15. I love this Build! Paint is Awesome, and I like the details on the engine and wheels. Cool Car!
  16. Wow, Outstanding Paint and Finish. I did not know that Academy even made a kit of that car.
  17. Very Nice Weathering! Looks just like a forgotten Transporter should.
  18. Amen, Brother. That group will sure be surprised when the Sewers stop running because nobody wants to do "icky" work......
  19. I like it. The Blue/Black colour choice works well. You have no need to apologize for your work. It looks great from here.
  20. Great Build! I want to build one, to recreate the one my Dad built for in the 1970's when this kit first came out.
  21. Great Builds. That Yellow Ghia is particularly sharp!
  22. I too, Have this kit. I am watching as well. Seems like this kit is sitting on a lot of shelves, but seldom gets built. Can't wait to see where this build goes.
  23. Mine is about 1910 to 1990 really. And that is due Mostly to Tad Burness and his books.
  24. I vaguely remember that issue. I want to say it was Car Modeler. It was on the cover, IIRC.
