  1. Neat! My Next door neighbor has a 1/1 Impala for sale right now. Quite the impressive car.
  2. I'd buy one. Of Course I want the Kingswood Wheels and the Monaro GT Engine.
  3. So, all new tooling money for THIS? I gotta be the Stick-in-the-Mud here. I fully understand that R2 caters to Geezers, mostly. At 59, I am now on the very cusp of Geezer-hood myself. But a 55 year old TV Series that was only two seasons long? For a show that was Good, but never Great? They choose to spend money on this? Maybe the Wonderfest crowd is correct. But, truthfully, this seems to be (To ME anyways) the answer to a question, few were asking. I hope it goes well.
  4. Yeah, I saw that. Looks like a nice build. The tires are "Very" funky, but will work. That 1990's tread pattern is just strange on this kit. But, that is a tiny nit-pick.
  5. I like the fact that I don't need to strip chrome from Revell's typical 1960's scale parts. Getting them to hold is always a gamble, and these parts will make getting a solid frame easier. Way to go. I just wish there had been a real Hemi to match the decals, rather than the heavy (and rare) Caddy motor. Just means I'll have to swap one if from the recent Jungle Jim car.
  6. I do like the Amphicat. Will make a nice load on a trailer with a Pickup or '78 Bronco. (Hint-hint)
  7. And, No.... 20 years too late, and a niche choice at best. And a Curbside! Much of the excitement on this one will artificially generated. Once the "Gotta have it First" guys make their purchases, It will become Ollies Shelf Fodder in 12 months........Even the Movie/Collectable Memorabilia market is limited. One & Done. Tell me again how we "have to be able to get 9 versions" out of a kit to justify the tooling dollars? I don't want to hear another word from any model Company about how they "Can't Justify the Tooling Dollars" for a widely requested subject, because the 'market just isn't big enough"........
  8. Indeed I do. I always liked the McCloud episodes best.
  9. My Holy Grail for kits would be a 1912-14 Mercer Raceabout, to go with the MPC Stutz Bearcat. Aurora was the only company to make both cars in the same scale as plastic kits. And Those were bigger kits, not 1/25. I had both Aurora kits, but Tire Melt and Time had ruined them. They had no engines either. Maybe, I should just try to hunt up Diecasts of each.
  10. It is pure Ugly. Straight Up, No Chaser!
  11. I have both of the old Chrome Trees, but no way to take anything but Cell Phone Pics.
  12. In 1970 you had your choice of 2 6 bangers. 240cu. or 300cu. Box Art for the kit calls out the engine as the 240cu version. You can get different boxings of the kit with the Six or the 360cu V-8.
  13. I wish that the One-Adam 12 car had been kitted. Especially on of the rare AMC Cruisers. It would be nice to see an AMC 4 Door Sedan. Maybe Moebius could do it? But, not many options. I don't know if the wheelbase was the same for all models, or changed.
  14. Wow! What a neat build, and Time Capsule.
  15. And didn't MPC make model kits of both the Pickup and that car?
  16. So Great to See you back, Snake. Sign is odd, though.
  17. Cool Idea! I hope it happens.
  18. Hawaii Five-Oh is great for this too. Some really Odd cars got caught in the background of the chase scenes.
  19. Let Us Hope that the awful BFGs are replaced by something else. Too Bad American Satco is gone. They would have the perfect tires for this kit.
  20. Where the heck do you shop, Bob? I've had problems, but nothing like that. (and I never, ever use the self check outs)
  21. Oddly,Mark, WWII Sherman tanks with Air Cooled Radial engines were rated in GPM. On paved road the Sherman gets about 4 Gallons Per Mile. Offroad it can triple.
  22. Tom's famous 'Rusty" Vette! Always great to see pics of it!
  23. It is close enough for Government Work. For a Mad Max build doors don't matter.
