Another Corvette I would own. Wish I had the money to buy it. I'd repaint it black though. Glossy Black would class it up a bit.

It was good to see this happen. It may not have served any practical purpose (that we know of), but somethings should be done, just to say you've done them. This was one of those things. It was inspirational and a great payback to Bill Shatner for all the interest he has brought to "Space" for the last 55 years. As George Mallory said. When asked why he wanted to climb Everest, his response: "Because it's there."

Those would be better, but you never know....... Sometimes the folks in Marketing make really odd choices.

You know, the Monster Truck version that came out a couple years ago, is this kit, with the crazy suspension. I bought both kits, in order to combine them to get the result you show here. (Well, 90% of it) I think that it would be a simple, easy way to get a 3rd kit out of a tool they ran recently. Great Idea.

Great Build! I can hear that MOPAR starter grinding that 6 to life, even through the computer screen.

Very Sharp Build. It captures the 'era' so well. Used, but not 'abused', that car represents a whole class of vehicles that never got (or get) any love. I can practically smell the interior from here. Work cars smell different from family cars. I know, I've ridden in, and driven enough of them. Thanks for taking me back in time.

I've got three of these still hiding in my stash. One Red, Two Black. For some reason, even knowing their faults, I can't let them go. Thanks, Paul for sharing your tricks for fixing the fit issues. I should dig one of these out. I always preferred the Red Car, but the Black one is the one you see for sale most often. They do share the same hood, but the scoops are very different. It shows how just changing a couple things (Scoop , Wheels) yield a much different look. I can hardly wait to see what colour you pick for it.

I agree that the little Dodge D-50 would be a great kit to release right now. I'd take it any way they chose, but if they could restore the stock parts to it, that would be even better. I'd prefer the 2WD truck, but I think it has strong potential in any version they chose. Those '80's Graphic Treatments are Bold and Colourful, and would stand out nicely now.

And look at that new Decal Sheet! Huge improvement. Boy, when they want to, Round2 has the best Decals in the business nowadays. (I just wish the Recent Yellow Molded, International Scout Kit, had gotten something better than the 'Meh' sheet it got)

As far as putting different Cabs on the truck, there are several choices to be had right now. '78 Dodge, the '91 Ford F-250/350, the '64 & '72 Chevies, Even the IMC/Lindberg Dodge L700, and others. Anybody who is really motivated will be able to kitbash something nifty, PDQ. Since it looks like it will be slightly bigger & heavier Duty Looking, than the one from MPC that was just released, it should fit well with larger truck chassis.

I wonder what livery this will be in?

Great Build! The Rain Spots actually improve the photo, IMHO. The Atmosphere and setting really show off the car well. +1 on changing the wheels / tires, a Huge improvement.

They are called "Strandbeests" Many videos on Youtube. And here is Mythbuster's Adam Savage playing with one. Might even be the kit you have.

I've always liked the Israeli Armor. Like you, I am intrigued by the way they cobbled together old or worn out equipment in order to get usable, and in some cases better than original weapons. Really neat stuff.

So... Does this mean the the ship is always the 'centaur' of attention? Not something Pirates would want, I suspect.......
