  1. Really Does not matter which wagon Round2 does. I'll be buying a couple of them. Never can have enough wagons.
  2. Not Car related but, glad to see the 1/72 Ju-52 and 1/35 GMC Deuce and a Half, from Heller. Those kits have been going for stupid money lately. This will knock the legs from under that market. And I'll get fresh decals. Some other nice Non-Auto stuff from Heller, as well. Good Show. P.S. Any ideas for a good mail order vendor for purchasing Heller kits in the USA?
  3. I drive a 2017 Kia Sorrento. While this kit is a Hyundai, it is the only game in town for a Modern "Cute-Ute". I'll be getting one eventually, just for that reason.
  4. Well, I gotta get some! Thanks for the info, guys.
  5. Man, I want that Green Paint. I wonder what the TS# is?
  6. Now, That is Great! What a fun build.
  7. You are correct. Those Taillights are perfect.
  8. Nice to see a possible inspiration for Alan Barton's Willis build.
  9. Awesome Set-up! Both the car and the tow rig are period correct.
  10. Neat Car. It looks appropriately sinister in the black.
  11. Man, what an impressive Build, Alan! I like the "just-right" stance and the colour. You've nailed the look perfectly.
  12. I hope never to read the words "68 Coronet" again. I am so tired of the constant stream of guff about this car. It may come as a surprise to some members of this board, but in 1968, there were at least 4 Domestic major manufacturers of full size cars. General Motors, Ford Motor Company, American Motors & Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth. (aka MOPAR) Each of these companies offered to the American Consumer a great numbers of choices of cars and trucks to choose from. Strangely, the Coronet was one of many. Thus while desirable, it had much competition Therefore, enough about this one car. I want a 68 AMC Ambassador. I have never mentioned this 'want' until now. Why? Because it is a waste of bandwidth. I swear, I'm gonna start hunting '68 MOPAR Gluebombs and kits of all kinds on the secondary market, and burn the danged things just to make them scarce! Argh! Enough is Enough. Round2 will (or will Not) tool up parts for this kit, When (or IF) they deem it a good use of their limited Tooling Dollars. Want one sooner? Buy Round2! Buy Revell! Buy Moebuis! Put YOUR money into this project, and stop carping about it online!
  13. You are correct about both the Nose-Hi reasoning, and about the narrow tires being from an earlier time period.
  14. Other boxings come with wider front tires to fit the huge rims on the basic Chrome tree. Those narrow tires are for the extra rims on the small chrome tree that is in the kit.
  15. That Cooler alone, will sell me the kit. I've resisted the upright Coke Machines. I cannot resist that Icechest Cooler.
  16. I have tried to test fit the top from the Build'n'Play to the Snap TR Wrangler. At least for me, the top came nowhere near fitting. Size issues and other fit problems. I might try again though just to see if I was wrong. Does anybody have both kits?
  17. I'm a fan of Power Wagons too. My first car was an M-43 Dodge Ambulance. That said, I don't see them ever happening. Too Old, Too Complex to tool, and Too Little Sales Potential. They just do not excite enough buyers to be worth the investment. I really the Station Wagon idea. Use what has already been tooled for the Belvedere, and Satellite and bring out some wagons.
  18. Yep, the Same Kit was also released as the "Mojave Mule" 4x4 with the neat "Off Road Research" graphics. This kit just jumped to the top of my list!
  19. IIRC, Rob the same "iffy' small block V-8 that Revell used in the Chevy Square-Body Chevrolet Trucks. Like the Billy Carter Pickup.
  20. Tom, I hope get your Refund. That looks awful. You must have been so upset when you opened the box.
  21. Fine looking Build, Dave. Sometimes a great looking model does not need to be complex.
  22. I'm stoked about the "new parts" that will be added to the Jeep. Stuff that was designed and tooled years ago, but never used, comes back to give Revell an "All New Kit" that they can market. How many other 'Tooled but Never Used:"parts are hiding in plain sight at Revell? I doubt we'll ever know. But as "New" versions of existing kits come to market, that will give some idea of what is there. I'll be buying that LUV too. Odd little truck. Now if they'd add the trailer and Motor Cycles! The Elky, will sell in huge numbers, I predict. It is a sharp, clean design, and with all the options in one box, it gives the builder a number of directions to take the build. That will make it a great seller. I'm in for at least two of 'em.
  23. Thanks, Andrew. I'm a Terminal Supervisor for Levinge Freight Lines in Bakersfield CA. https://levingefreightlines.com/ I really like the photos you have shared of your Rigs. That Ole' Mack is a Brute. I checked, and it does not look like AITM has anything close to that in Resin. I wish there was a kit of that truck!
  24. I'll third the Recommendation for Model Roundup. I use him quite a bit. Fast and Trustworthy.
