Yeah. And We are only half way done with the year.

The Charger box art is Very Good. That will sell lots of kits. I like the way the car jumps out at you. I think the Decals this time around may be better.

Some Thoughts on the Blazer. Notice the ICM style Multi-part chassis with the separate side rails and Cross members. The Light bar looks good but at only 3 (?) parts is simplified, but I note that the parts for the bar are included the base kit sprues, so any future versions of the kit will give you all the Police parts, as it looks like the radios are in one of the chrome sprues. I like the tread detail on the spare tire, and the Tires themselves look very good. Note too, that the grille is on it's own small sprue, so that by swapping out just the grille sprue, you can depict a different year Blazer. This is thoroughly Modren Tooling, well up to 21st Century standards. AS we so often note on this board, no modren Model Company tools up a new kit without having plans for multiple versions in mind. When the Stranger Things licensing expires, I expect to see this released with different decals as a Police/Sheriff Blazer, or with added parts, (Brush Guard, Winch, Extra Gas Cans, Driving Lights, and more Aggressive Tires & Wheels) as a Full Blown Off Road Machine. Or something else. Maybe in Forest Service, or Fire Chief Markings... Anyway, I predict that we will see other Kits off this tool, but It may be a few years before we do. But, I don't Think Revell spent the Tooling dollars for a One & Done kit.

Revell did a re-tool of the TJ Taxi a few years ago. Fresh Tooling was cut. However, I don't think Atlantis got it and Ton Daniel has sworn that he won't work with Revell, so That tooling may sit unused for a long time, before it sees the light of day again. Sad, because I put off buying one of the new ones when they came out, and missed my chance to have one. -

Here is a pic of the engine parts. The Flattie is very simple, but looks good when done. 7 parts total, counting the exhaust pipes. And the rest of the instructions. https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/revell-monogram/tom-daniels-pie-wagon/?view=roll#1 -
Great News! I bought my first house 14 years ago. It is nice not to rent anymore. I hope you have many happy years there. I weren't in California, I'd Be over with a Loaf of French Bread and a bottle of Muscat Canelli to celebrate!

I just saw that. My Dad had a few of his first albums. I listened to them for hours. They were so Funny. May he R.I.P.

Very Sharp Builds, A.J. What did you use for the rear wheels/tires? They look Stout. -

Yeah, they are both originally ERTL kits from the 1970's. Both kits are almost exactly the same except the Body, Interior Tub, wheels and brush guard. I like them, despite the trashing they get for the shape issues with the grille and hood. -
Boy, isn't that the truth! I had the Mod Rod back in the '70's. Those Ala Kart fenders made for a great Street Rod. Just like the second Box Art with the Black Car shown in Steve Milberry's post.

Is that a "Longmire" Pickup Truck? I'd like to see that finished. I've got a Monogram 1980 Bronco, and a set of Best Resins custom Lic Plates for a "Longmire" inspired Bronco Build. I really Like the "Car 54" too. -
What wonderful building skills you possess, and such handy tips. Thank You for sharing both your skills and your knowledge.

And, as is typical of Monogram T.D. kits the Flattie has very few parts, (6 or 8 )but all are heavily engraved for lots of visible surface detail. It is a nice, easy to build kit. -
I wish it said 1956 on the box someplace.

I bought them over 20 years ago, when I had both Money and Time. I was working 12 hour Graveyard shifts, 7pm to 8am. I made lot's of O.T., and the pay was very good. I had access and permission to surf the web at work, as long as I always answered the phone! Between my wife and I we'd spend between $800.00 to $1200.00 a month on eBay items. I spent the nights haunting eBay for deals, and bought multiples of Model T Ford Kits. I still have most of them. I wish Round2 could conjure up the Parts for this kit. It is the same base kit as the '27 Police Touring car from a few years ago, so I know the base kit is still viable. -

What great Photos at that first link! You could Scratch Build one of these and have a fine time. Since they are not "Real" brands, but Park Vehicles, you could have some fun with them.
